Went there for lunch today. Usually go at this location 2 times a month and always great and fast service well not today. The lady never asked if it was dine in or carry out but asked everyone else that was behind me and my husband. She gave us a number and we waited and I looked at my receipt and it said dine in so I talked to another employee and explained that it was carryout she said she would make sure it was to go as we waited people came in after us and had big orders and got their orders before us. I saw a worker which was a manager bagging up food and moving food out for employees to give them to customers or outside drive thru. He looked at my number and continued to keep putting food out and there was a tray to the left of him with food on it which was our order and he disregarded it. I was trying to ask him about our order and gave him my receipt he didn't want to hear what I was trying to say and said wait hold on all the numbers are not in order and I said I understand but we waited 15 minutes for a single burger with fried onions and NO CHEESE pickles , ketchup and mustard and a Double deluxe meal which was on my receipt and after they throw our order in the garbage and remake it by time I got home a few blocks away my burger had cheese on it. Was pissed cuz I can't eat cheese. The manager basically profiled us because I'm white and my husband is black. Sorry to say but I would come every other Sunday after church but will go somewhere else from...
Read moreDecember 2022 update. After waiting in a long line today, again they didn't include sauce/condiments. Further, the bag of fries was only half-filled with overcooked fries. Both, effective management and quality control seem to continue to be lacking.
4 month update: I'm adding a star, going from 2 to 3. I've been to a LOT of Culver's and this one is still the worst one. They've cleaned up some of the opening issues, such as the horrible drive thru speakers and the excessive wait times. Having said that, my order is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sometimes it's missing food, sometimes it's the wrong food, and just forget about asking for customized orders like "please add ketchup". One of the grossest things is that when you order a fish fry in the drive thru they don't put a tissue in the plate (like other Culver's do), which leads to a very soggy fillet when you get home the whole experience so far has actually become a fun game for our family to "find the order error". And we've learned to never leave the drive thru until we confirm everything is in the bag. Parting shot - would it kill them to salt the fries? Ordered food in the drive through. Waited 10-15 mins for the food to come out. Got home and the fries were cold and soggy, and worse, we were missing one of the entrees for the kids. Crying ensued, stress, not cool. Just check the damn ticket or I'll send my crying kid home with...
Read moreSo, the experience I just had was really average.
I eat at Culver's all the time, but not at this location. The staff were top notch, friendly and quick, but the food and general upkeep left me concerned.
The fish sandwich, not as hot as I expected, the fish is tougher than I expected. The coke machine was set incorrectly and it was flat and watery. The onion rings were all fused into a weird looking clump, much of which looked nothing like onion rings. I didn't eat it to see what it was actually composed of.
Additionally, the speaker in the drive through was full of static and made hearing the really nice, friendly person talking my order VERY difficult.
It was edible, it was ok, it was fine, but that is NOT the Culver's I expect. Not even close.
The manager here needs to step up and get control, because your current quality control is not up to Culver's otherwise impeccable standard. Average isn't good enough.
Lots of things are wrong all at once, in different aspects of the business, I feel this is absolutely on the manager, and the inattention to detail is hurting your business. All of this should have been caught, and training and oversight increased, before now.
Edited to say that this was around 6 or 615...
