I normally shop at Kay jewelers for the holidays. This Christmas I decided to buy some stocking stuffers for my for my family. I normally do not pay for anything from them online but I wanted to utilize my discounts. Once purchased I noticed the price was different than what I assumed it should be. I immediately called customer service. I had some questions regarding the billing of items. I wanted to cancel the order but while on the phone I checked my bank statement and saw the correct price was pending. I informed the rep who was helping me with it and told him NOT to cancel my order! Well I opened up my email today just to see if I received any notifications about pick up, and my entire order was cancelled. I've been trying to get this rectified for an hour and a half as we speak and they still can not come up with any type of solutions. Mind you, the price shot back up to the original price and they have the nerve to say to me, We can give you back the welcome discount of $25. We do not have anything to do with the sale price. Now I have to rush to find something for my family. I will never shop with them EVER AGAIN!! Reason why I did not go in the store to get the merchandise is because they were out of stock at all stores and they shipped...

Newly engaged and wanted to learn more about rings and was greet decently at best, i was acknowledged but bare minimum service was given. There was a lady with micro-dreads that was servicing me.
Waited until Valentines Day of 2025 to purchase a ring and when I did, the associate tried her best to upsell me on a high price ring, using words like, āDonāt be cheapā. Then when I declined multiple times, we proceeded with final purchase, she then pivoted her nasty sales tactic with me purchasing insurance and I asked how many days do I have after purchase to get insurance and she said ā14 daysā. Great, so I declined and told her I will return when I propose to get the insurance and to get the ring engraved with my partner. Her colleague asked how did I like the service and if I got the insurance and she interrupted and said, āHe canāt afford the insuranceā. Piss poor service, classless sales person, and report to my community to never shop there as long as that lady works there. āMattieā please provide better sales associates that have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a deeply disappointing experience at Kay Jewelers. They lost my engagement ring along with my wedding band, and the process to resolve the issue was exhausting and stressful. Initially, the store manager, Mattie, was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, making an already devastating situation much worse. However, after that poor treatment, the assistant manager, Chris and district manager made efforts to assist me. Ultimately, they were able to replace my ring, which I appreciated.
That said, I want to warn others: if you send your jewelry off for repair, understand that if itās lost, the process of getting a resolution can take months. In my case, it required numerous in-store conversations, repeated phone calls to both the store and corporate, and constant follow-up. The entire experience felt unprofessional, more like dealing with a misplaced fast-food order than with a lost set of priceless, sentimental rings.
Because of this experience, I will never shop at Kay Jewelers again, and I strongly urge others to think carefully before trusting them with items of significant...
