Hobby Lobby — Attraction in Goldsboro

I am in the process of redecorating and I am finding all sorts of cool things that are my style. Their wall art goes on sale about every other week but it doesn't change up much and I certainly would not pay the regular price listed on the item. It kind of kills me to pay the half price listing because most of the stuff is pressed wood. You can get some good prices on seasonal items. Right now and for quite some time now the fall seasonal items are on sale. The Christmas items are half off. I could just spend hours looking around in this store. It's next door to harbor freight on Berkeley boulevard. Plenty of parking, public restroom. The only complaint I have is the checkout process is so very slow. If you are returning an item you can only go to one register. And other people that don't know that that is the only return register there is also get into line at that register and processing takes quite some time. They have been very good about returning items in good condition. The store has the most fall items and Christmas items I have ever seen in one store. They have other areas that I haven't even been in yet. They seem to do a good amount of business and I hope they stay around. I took off a star because of the difficult checkout for returning items. They close at 7:00 which to me is too early since I usually do my shopping in...

Went early and again at the end of November and both times the Christmas area was extremely over crowded, neither time was a weekend, the aisles were big enough for 2 carts, but not for people to go around them, so if you wanted to go around or in between them you are screwed and don't dare say "excuse me" so they move, just go to the next aisles, or get out and don't you dare stand next to someone and look in the general area of what they are looking because that is invading their shopping space and they may want what you may be looking at, so back off of their aisle. I suggest going really early so you avoid the long register lines too... Also, make sure you check what you are being charged for while at the register, I got charged for things I didn't buy but there is no way to prove I bought 12 things not 17, didn't realize until I got home and thought $78 for a few flowers was a bit too much, counted items in the ticket and number I purchased and it didn't match.
