Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Goldsboro

I stopped to get 6-donuts, 2 of which were supposed to be lemon filled. When we got home my wife tried one of her favorite (lemon filled). It had absolutely no lemon filling at all inside. I called Krispy cream and they asked if the other one had cream which she went to check and again, it had zero filling. They said I could bring them back for replacements. Mind you I live at least 6- miles out in the county. They did not offer to take my name and compensate me when I planned to be back in the area, as most who screw up do. So I drove back out to show them the dry inside donuts. They gave me a replacement on the two duds and through in one extra for my trouble. I drove 12- miles round trip for an extra donut. That was an unsatisfactory customer service interaction. I expected at least to be offered a coupon for another 6-donuts on them! But they didn’t really seem to care. We can't go to Goldsboro & not stop in...we always go inside .so kids could see how our favorites are been made.but last two xs we been.it was down.so yea.kiddos was lil disappointed.but as were preceding to check out all the sweets.we were greeted.very friendly.helpful.clean looking staff.the lady (think she was manager.she had on different shirt from others) she let kiddos pick out their very own 🍩.since they got that sweet taste.the doughnut making didn't cross their mind anymore.we payed.lady did give us the discount of the day.SWEET...ohhh lobby was spotless.and ☕ area well stocked...so thank y'all whoever was working on Saturday afternoon 2-10-24 ...well worth the drive.will be BK.God...
