Johnson Carpet One was great until after I signed the contract. Keith came to my house and was great to deal with during the initial measurements. I went later that evening after he worked up an estimate to look at samples, Keith was not in then but the gentleman that helped us actually pick out the products was awesome. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He sent us home with some samples to make our final selections and worked up the pricing estimates with the samples we took home. It wasn't until we were on the way out he told us he was the owner. I went back the next day to book the job. Keith was in and showed him the samples we chose and the pricing that the owner printed out for us, first thing he said was they were wrong, priced too low. After a little lip service from him he honored the quotes. I then showed him a coupon I had from online issued by Carpet One for $100 off purchase of $1,499 or more. My order was just over $5,000. Keith tells me that the store doesn't honor those coupons with no other explanation he started going over the paperwork with me. I guess this franchise chooses not to participate in this particular discount. There was more than a month between my order date and install date but Keith calls a week before install and asks when I am coming to get my shoe molding so I can paint it for the floor install.......I had no clue what he was talking about. Appearently it was my responsibility to go pick up my shoe mold, paint it, and then store it until my install date. This was the first time I was hearing about this, the day before I am leaving for California for a week. Again after some lip service Keith admits he never mentioned this to me and he would make sure this was taken care of. Finally install day comes and the crew shows up on time and they were perfect. Professional, respectful, and hard working. I talk to the foreman and just ask about the soft spot in front of the sink that I mentioned during the initial measurement to Keith and he had not put anything in the notes. Foreman takes a look, it's something they don't fix but he tells me who to call and I take care of it. They do all they can around the spot. I let Keith know what is going on and tell him it will be fixed by noon on Saturday. He tells me on Thursday he will call me on Saturday to confirm the job is done so he can relay the message to floor crew to come back, I am still waiting on that call. Luckily the guy that fixed the floor had the foreman's number and called him when the job was completed just for professional courtesy. Monday morning comes and Keith finally calls me to tell me the crew will be by sometime to complete the job. I ask what time he says he is not sure because they are working me in around other jobs, I completely understand that. All I asked was for someone to call me when they were on the way to my house since it was my day off I could run errands and not worry about missing the guys, he said he understood and would relay the message to me when they were on the way over, I am still waiting on that call too. Luckily I had returned home in time for the guys to show up ringing the doorbell. I told them I was expecting a call from Keith and they said they hadn't spoken with him since early that morning. They finished the job. In the end my floors look great, both crews who installed were awesome. My customer service during the process was very lacking though. At this point I would probably use another company for flooring needs in the future. I can change my floors again but I can't change the customer service I...

They were so helpful with advice about how we should handle certain situations that we found as the project was unfolding. Francisco's crew led by Geronimo Ponce, assisted in tackling tough subflooring issues as well as tedious plumbing tweaks that were required to get our project done right! They were always honest AND the crew worked quickly, quietly, and neatly as they made our house like a new home.

We couldn't be more pleased with the sales, installation, and customer service. However, the price was the icing on the cake- they came in literally THOUSANDS less than our other two quotes. Francisco was able to get us a highly rated product- Coretec Pro Series Plus flooring- that has a great warranty, is durable, and is scratch and dent resistant. The flooring we chose was the Duxbury Oak and it looks great with our freshly painted walls (in Repose Grey) and our brushed nickel trim. It also compliments the other wood and trim in our house.

Everyone love the look and feel of the LVP and my wife will enjoy the ease of cleaning and dusting. We had engineered hardwood and carpet throughout the house and vinyl in the bathroom. We installed the Coretec LVP throughout the entire downstairs of the house- bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room included. It will withstand water, wear, and high traffic from kids, friends, and our dog Chewie.

Our house is now ready for what the future holds as the kids get older and our family continues to grow. Now we need some beautiful rugs! Francisco- we'll be in touch! I know that you're the man that can help us get it done right!

I would like to personally thank our salesperson Mr. Francisco and the owner Mr. Greg of Johnson Carpet One.  We recently bought a home and had all new flooring installed by Johnson Carpet One.  We chose a low-maintenance, waterproof LVP.  Throughout the process, Mr. Francisco was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the installation went smoothly.  The installers were pleasant, professional, and timely.  Fast forward a bit of time and we noticed some buckling and separating at the seams in the floor.  We called Mr. Francisco to relay our concern.  Within a few days he had an inspector at the house.  The inspector observed the floor, inspected the crawlspace, and took moisture readings.  He submitted his findings to Johnson Carpet One.  Although, I don’t know all the details of the report, but I am cognizant of the fact that in SE NC there is bound to be some moisture due to the humidity.  However, Mr. Greg, the owner of Johnson Carpet One, stood by their warranty and “Beautiful Guarantee” identified on their website.  My husband and I are extremely grateful for Johnson Carpet One being a company that stands...
