My boyfriend and I visited your Grand Prairie store and I had the worst visit over the weekend, several customers and I wanted to try clothes at 8:35 p.m. and apparently your policy won't allow anyone to try on because your store closes at 9:00 p.m. So we tried the shirts outside to ensure that they fitted properly. As we were trying them one of your associates (Nikky Johnson) came by and yelled that the store was closing at 9:00 p.m. and it was barely 8:45 and still had 15 minutes to go. My reply to her was that there was still 15 minutes to go and she replied with lots of attitudes that she was just telling us and that she was doing her job. I again replied well there is still 15 minutes. Another group of people was looking for a suit for a wedding and asked where the fitting rooms were and I pointed and told them they were not going to let them use the fitting room. They went to ask and the same associate Nikky Johnson told her the same thing and as they exchange words she told the customer not to get mad at her and to speak with someone at the register. The group of people walked over and we were heading to pay at the register and as they tried to speak with the manager, she gave them the same excuse. I also cut in with the other customers because the hours posted say your store closes at 9:00 p.m. and as a former employee and manager in the retail industry, you allow your customers to try close with at least 5 minutes after you close your store. We decided to leave and not purchase anything as the experience was unacceptable and worst ever. Read more0 to 100 real quick! I came in and after an hour of shopping one of the sales associates said she would start me a fitting room. I was hesitant but said okay. One of the pieces of clothing was something I really wanted and it was the last one in my size! Yay! I reiterated multiple times to Maria, the sales associate, to make sure my items didn't get put back. She promised me they wouldn't. After another 20 min of combing the racks for great deals, I head back to my fitting room. All of my clothes were gone, put back out on the racks! I could've died! I wanted to cry! The one item I REALLY wanted they couldn't find! UGH! Mario, the BEST STORE MANAGER EVER went to search for my items himself. After what felt like an eternity, they found all of the items. During check out MARIO really went above and beyond to take care of me. He gave me a pretty generous discount on my entire sale. I choose return in store and was told I couldn't because they are not related to the online store; whatever that means, but in the rudest way. Spoke to 2 people with one walking off after I tried to tell her how confusing the messaging is online and the other one will just not stop talking. Eventually I was told how Bloomingdale's is so cheap they won't hire someone who can change the option you get that says you can return to store when they are not related.
