I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Chuck E. Cheese location in Grand Prairie while celebrating my nephew's third birthday. My nephew is battling leukemia and had just gotten out of the hospital, so this celebration was meant to be a joyous occasion. Unfortunately, the service and organization at this location were appalling. Firstly, we were wrongfully charged for 16 children plus unwanted upgrades, even though there were only 14 kids present. This mistake set the tone for the rest of the event. The lack of enthusiasm from the employees when singing happy birthday was palpable; it felt forced, awkward, and rushed. The issues continued with the food. We paid $60 for a cake and were supposed to receive five pizzas but only got three. The receipt given to my sister did not match the initial transaction, and one of the employees took her receipt. Then, Jorge, the manager, went to the cashier register and quickly tried to generate another receipt, which was not the original. The entire party, which was supposed to last from 3 to 5 PM, was overshadowed by the disorganization and chaos of the facility. We didn't get to enjoy it at all. We spent $1,000 at this location, and the experience was far from worth it. There are far better places to enjoy a birthday party at this price point. What saddens me the most is the lack of empathy and regard from the staff. One employee was even rude to the kids when redeeming their tickets, rolling her eyes and displaying a bad attitude. It's ridiculous to think that we spent $1,000 on such poor service and cheap plastic toys that could easily be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed. I wish we hadn't wasted our precious time at this horrible place. Instead of a smooth and enjoyable celebration, it was pure chaos and disaster. I hope Chuck E. Cheese takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. We will not be returning.

First day of all, you have to have the mind set that this is a child establishment to run and play, and that the parents want to spoil their children. Keep that in mind, and you won't get upset by the long wait to get inside. You have to place your orders for food, and order play time right in the front door as you come in. They do not have a super large building like Dave & Buster's, so it can be a bit cramped. This night, they had 3 birthday parties going on so it took almost an hour to get our food. Food for thought: They have a buffet, but I watched this parent holding a baby, coughing and sneezing over it. And the kids were not monitored at all by the parents as they got food via the buffet. If or when you go, make sure that you go there with 2 adults. 1 with the kids playing, and 1 watching the table. The parents are like vultures, waiting for you to get up and take your spot. But as busy as they were, they kept the bathrooms clean

We wound up going here because we had a cash back deal with our bank and had a really good time. We got a medium pizza and 2 drinks ( They dont for some very strange reason serve Coke🤷‍♂️ so we were disappointed). When I placed the order I asked about adding a salad bar to our order and was told it was ( I think $8.49, I think the look on my face gave her my answer of NO) I have never in my life paid that much to add a salad bar on to a pizza order so you have been warned in advance if you want a salad with your pizza go elsewhere. Now with all the negative the pizza was good ( drinks were terrible) and we did have a good time playing video games for 14.99 for an unlimited amount of play for 45 minutes. Overall we had a good time but were just shocked by some of the pricing and drink options.

I scheduled a party for the 2nd of June. I done everything online for the party right down to the cake and what it was suppose to have on it. The day come and we were excited. The table was not ready and it went down hill from there. The server and a manager was talked to about what we ordered online. They told me that what we picked online was a suggestion and that may not be what we get at the party. I ordered chunkecheese sticker on the cake and an extra large pep pizza. I expected the number of guest to be in what I paid for the party. The manager told me that the adults were not included in the price even though I had to put how many were coming. If the adults wanted a drink or food it would have to ordered separate and paid separate from the price of the party. So I ordered another large pep pizza and some wings. The wings were suppose to have bar b q on half and plain on the other. We got a cheese pizza and the wings were buffalo sauce and another hot kind. Everytime we needed or wanted to talk to our hostess we had to hunt her down. We had to wait for her to finally get the party packs after asking several times for them. The kids were suppose to have unlimited games and rides for two hours. It took about 45 mins after everyone arrived before we got them. Then 30 mins before the party was to be over the hostess came over and said we had to leave our table and move everything to a booth because she had another party coming and had to have 30 mins to set up for them. I paid for 2 hours and got maybe a total of 1 hour at the table for the party. From it not being ready when we got there to her moving us 30 mins before it was to be over. The kids did have a good time but I was very disappointed in the way the party went on other matters. If asked I will tell who ever ask how our party went. I would not want another person to be treated the way we were treated. This party was scheduled at your store at I 20 in Grand Prairie TX. Word of mouth goes a long way with parents wanting to have a good party for there child and get what they planned for and money worth. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint I filled out a survey after the party but I seen the hostess read it and threw it in the trash. The manager never seen it but I dont think she munched cared what it said either. She would have probably thrown it away also. I have tried to email chunkecheese and not put it on the page but the email address I found is not working. I had to give the place one star to get my comment to even post. If not for that I would not have given it any stars at all. Thank You Jennifer Boyd Get...

Just finished my 3 yr old daughter's first birthday party at the location in Grand Prairie. The entire party from beginning to end was very disorganized. A few times I had to go to track down our party host regarding things. It took until 20 min after our party time started for the kids to get their game passes so we were told the passes still worked for 2 hrs, but we had to clear everything off of the party table by 1 (our end time) while the kids still had the last of their play time.

Our party host that initially greeted me and was trying to go over how things would go was changed suddently who walked up and said this is my party.

The pizza order was messed up. They brought what I'd requested for the 2 large pizzas I ordered for the adults as the mediums for the kid, and didnt even bring the adult large pizzas out .I had to say something and then another 15-20 min later they finally came.

I told them twice I needed candles for the cake I brought, but then opened up the cake to prepare and asked me for the candles so I had to tell them again. Had me set them up then only to have to tell my 3 yr old oh wait now Chuck E Cheese is coming out to sing to you and took her away from the cake. Then we went back re-lit the candles and had to sing to her ourselves again.

Then I was told I could get a bag of tickets if I completed a survey, which I did and lied saying it was good service. Then he made me show him my email confirmation that I'd completed it to get them.

After I did that and we cleared the table my mother and a friend were sitting at one of the booths that was NOT part of the birthday table and they were very rudely told they had to move.

All in all it was disorganized, and for expensive as it is, I expected...
