SHALONDA in the womenâs department yelled at my child and her 3 friends from across the store accusing my kiddos of theft (eating from candy bags) because they were chewing gum and holding the candy bags for sell
I went over because of the commotion and yelling asking what happened and she continues to YELLING ACCUSING THEM OF THEFT I immediately looked at the bags of candy they had because I myself was fixing to get upset with them when I noticed there werenât even unopened and child opened her mouth pulling out the gum
The employe knew in that moment she made a huge mistake laughing at me saying âI was just kidding I was just trying to scare themâ After I dictated her that she is unprofessional for embarrassing my kiddos and making them feel bad for something they didnât do and schooled on how to properly handle the matter the employee comes from behind the counter and gets in my face getting aggressive now changing her story saying she never accused them , thereâs clearly the footage from the store that the store can access and see everything that happened but Iâve never dealt with this type of incident especially in a high end store like SAKS I felt very uneasy and uncomfortable Even IN. A CASE where a child does in fact open the candy YOU DONT HANDLE IT THE WAY SHALONDA did! You just tell the parent what the child did and the parent pays for it ! I spend thousands of dollars at this store so to be treated this way in a store I love made me feel horrible and my kids were scared to go back into the store when we had to leave the mall because of how aggressive she was ! In what way did she think she had the authority and power to even yell at my kids ! The employees in here are usually very nice and welcoming or accommodating , this was just an out of the box incident. DO BETTER AT HIRING SAKS this is not okay, Iâd hate for any child to have to go through this especially when they did not do what the employee yelled at them accusing them for I wish I could get the footage and show you guys what she did the whole store was looking when she yelled these accusations and me getting upset didnât make it any better when I told her how she shouldâve handled it. I informed customer care my package was never delivered. I asked care was their proof of delivery such as picture of package on door or name of person who received package. No process was in place other than alert package was delivered. I was never taken care of for my lose. There was no accountability and pretty much was informed thatâs my lose. Lisa and Janet were both very helpful and offered to help with jewelry. They carry a lot of top-line designer labels- Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld.
