Miller's Jewelry, Inc. — Attraction in Greenfield

After becoming recently engaged, I took my sentimental family heirloom ring in to be resized. I had gone here growing up with many family members and wanted to go somewhere local. My first visit was pleasant. They sized me and sent the ring in to be resized. They assured me that it would not be stretched and that gold would be added to the band. I waited 8 weeks for it to be done, but I understand that for a local business, wait times can be lengthy. When my fiancee picked up the ring and I got home to try it on, I noticed how thin the band was. After contemplating, I went back in and spoke to someone about how I was concerned about how thin the band was and how I'm having issues with it staying on my finger (yes, I understand your fingers shrink in the cold but it was happening even when warm). The lady working told me that they did add gold and it was brought to them like that because that is how those rings are made. She also insisted that it was because my fingers were cold and did not offer any solutions or suggestions. I was quoted over $500 to add more gold to the ring when in fact it was not brought in like that; even my MIL, who owned the ring previously, knew it was not originally that thin. A CUSTOMER offered me more help with suggestions on getting a ring guard for the ring. I did not feel helped at all after this visit. A few months later the ring ended up getting bent, which I would believe is from how thin the band was. I have since found a great new jeweler who has gone above and beyond to help with...

Friendly, attentive service from all staff, all day long! Don't miss out. Definitely not your average "big box jewelry store" experience! Super friendly staff. I had a family watch sent out for repair. It looks amazing now. Pricing seemed fair, although I admit it's my first watch repairing. It came back on time and on budget. It's not a huge shop, but plenty of clocks, watches, and jewelry to peek at. It's welcoming in there, staff is available, but they don't smother you every five minutes for service...you don't feel like they're looking for commission. Will definitely return for any repairs and perhaps to check out a new watch for myself...
