Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Greenfield, IN 2070 N State Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140, United States. I stayed at this hotel on 8/6-8/8. On 8/6 at approximately 1130pm, I walked into the bathroom and almost fell because there was a large puddle of water on the floor. This puddle was from a dripping vent fan in the ceiling. I went to the front desk and notified the desk clerk. He picked up his cell phone and called "someone". He went upstairs to the second floor, came back to the front desk, disappeared down the hall, all without a word to me. He then came back and asked me to unlock the room door, which I did. I showed him the leaking ceiling. He was still on his phone at this point. He hung up and said he would be right back. Couple minutes go by and he returned with a handful of towels and mopped up the floor. He took the vent fan out of the ceiling and wiped it out. It then took him about 10 minutes to reattached the ceiling fan. He commented that I "should have seen the leak last week, it was so much worse", as he was attempting to reattach fan. He stated that someone had overfill the bathtub in the room above mine. He came out said it was all handled. I asked if he could put me in another room and I was told the rooms were full.He left. I went into the bathroom and was promptly hit in the head with dripping water. I laid towels on the floor. So I would not walk into the bathroom and slip later in the night. I checked out on 8/8. I asked the desk clerk if there would be any compensation and she stated no. When I persisted, I was told that the manager would be notified and he would reach out to me. On 8/9 at 1130am, I called and requested the manager contact me. An hour later, I received a call from manager, Chiag. After a long discussion, I am told that I was essentially given a $10 discount because it was out of their control and it was the person in the room above me who overfilled the tub. It is curious that something similar occurred a week ago, yet they still chose to put someone in both rooms. So, I'm here to say DON'T stay at this hotel. If you choose to stay there, make sure you are not in Room 109 or better yet stay on the 2nd floor, but don't expect great...
Read more0% the rooms were dirty, the was polluted with flying insect ants, the bed had bed bugs. I told my Fiancé to go let them know and that we were leaving. They told us to check another room which we did and it was the same situation. We asked for a refund and showed them the videos and From their was treated terribly. They said that our money would be on our card within 5 to 10 business days it has been 12 business days and still no money back on my card. My fiancé had talked to the manager of the hotel apparently she was staying in one of the rooms because she had a hurt foot and she told him she Said she was aware of the bugs and that she would get in contact with us again about Our money. We have been ignored so we went into the business again 11 days later to see where $578 of ours is. We went to another motel however spent a week there waiting on our money and during this time my first cousin had passed away. We had no money we had to leave the other motel no food and I missed a Close family members funeral. They refuse to give me a receipt for days still have not received one. The woman said she was gone to call the manager again she walked down the hallway so me and my fiancé sat down to wait on her later to our surprise the police come in. She called the police and the police told her that they were wrong. My skin was bit up now I’m afraid to stay places. I’m traumatized by this whole experience I am hurt, angry and broke. My fiancé missed a visit with his kids and steals never heard back from the manager Denise whitehead. This place is filthy and is in desperate need of help a new management and one hell of a exterminator do not ever stay in this place. The bugs will win, the customer service is the worst service I have ever encountered. The health department was called in so was OSHA for the safety of their employees so they don’t take bedbugs home to...
Read moreIf you’re looking to stay the night, keep going. The staff was not very friendly. When we checked in, we had booked 2 rooms and asked if they could give us adjoining rooms. The front desk person half heartedly tapped some keys and said we had to request that option when we booked the room and there was nothing he could do, so we just said screw it it’s not worth the hassle. He did give us 2 rooms that were next to each other so we did appreciate that. But the rooms smelled musty and the sheets and covers had stains on them. The aerator on one of the sinks in the bathroom didn’t let water pass through so I unscrewed it to be able to wash my hands. The wifi didn’t work, I tried iPhones, macs, android and Samsung phones and nothing could connect. Yes I know wifi not working is a 1st world problem but when I inquired at the front desk (different person) he asked if I forgot the network and to try connecting again. Nothing worked and he picked up his phone and said “well I am connected” and that was the end of that conversation. I will say the beds were comfortable and they had a variety of pillows to choose from. The family swam at the pool, not the worst pool but not the greatest either. Breakfast was subpar, and I don’t expect much from a hotel breakfast anymore but this wasn’t good, we ended up leaving way before the 12:00 checkout time because we didn’t want to stay longer. Kinda disappointed in this hotel. I stayed at a holiday inn further down interstate 70 a couple days before and for the around same price (the holiday inn was $10 more per room per night) and it was a way better stay and the staff was WAY nicer. Funny enough I ran into the “adjoins rooms” problem at the holiday inn and the lady at the front desk of the holiday inn was super helpful even though I didn’t specify it in...
