I went to get take out at 5am after working 8hr shift. I order steak, 3 eggs, hash browns and wheat toast. First off the cook disguised me by already preparing someone else food like he was in a bad mood. This is what made me pay attention to his cooking in the first place. I noticed that he forgot to cook their eggs with cheese so he put to slices of already cooked eggs in a bowl and stirred them up. Instead of recooking them. He was stirring them aggressively to where some eggs fell out the bowl he pick that portion up and put it back in the bowl. Which I felt was not good. So I really started watching him hard without moving my eyes off. The same time he was cooking their food, he started on my order. He grabbed my raw meat with the same gloves that he was picking up pans, touching doors, toaster, spatula without changing them. This is the point where I was disguised. He never cleaned the grill off from one order to another. He placed all the food he preparing on the counter. I think asked if he could not put my bread on the counter cause I don't want to get sick from the food cause of germs. so he put more bread in the toaster for me I said thank you. Then he put my toast back on the counter to cut it again. then tossed it on my containers. When he cooked my hash browns he dropped some on the same counter again that he had cooked everyone food there. Then he proceeded to put that on in my container. I express that I didn't want that in my container so he recooked me some more. I said thank you again. politely. I truly didn't really want the food after that but had to get back to work and haven't ate anything. So I left with my order disguised and disappointed. Once I opened the container to eat praying that it taste better than what I just witness. Well a big FAT NO!!!! My toast was so soggy from hom putting it on the bottom under all the food. The hash browns was hard way over cooked plus greasy from him scraping the grill residue into them. The only thing that was half way right was the thin cut steak pieces. Eggs over cooked and hard when I purchased a extra one with my breakfast meal. This was definitely not eatable. I was so pissed to have wasted almost 16 dollars on food that I could NOT eat and thrown in the trash. I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN AND HOPE OTHERS PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FOOD IF POSSIBLE. This is why people are getting sick or dying from eating food. Cooks should care about the way they preparing food for others or just DON'T BE A COOK IF YOU DON'T CARE. I had to go and buy me another breakfast from...
Read moreI usually enjoy eating at this Waffle House as the food is consistent and the employees are pleasant and on the ball. However, I hadn't been there in a while and things have changed, and not for the better. Our order was a phoned in carry out situation and they were timely enough - the food was ready when they said it would be - but the food itself was extremely subpar. I ordered biscuits and gravy but what I got was a biscuit that looked like it was just swimming in milk. The gravy was SO thin that it was actually sloshing over the sides of the container. It was like plain milk with a couple pieces of sausage thrown in to make it look real. I couldn't eat it that way and put it in the fridge hoping it would maybe thicken when chilled. It didn't and I wasn't going to start adding flour and remaking the whole dish so I let my dog eat it. She did not finish it. My dining companion's omelette was runny on the inside and cold and got rubbery when he tried to reheat it. His hash browns were nearly raw. I should be giving less than the 3 stars I'm giving because they weren't even busy and should have been able to make at least one of our items correctly, but I gave a couple extra stars in case there was some difficulty with their grill or the cook was out sick and the janitor was cooking or something that couldn't be helped. After all, they've never served food this terrible ever since I've been going there. If it turns out that's the new way they're operating, I will be done going there, but I'm giving them one more visit in hopes it was just an off night and they're back on track serving me thick gravy that doesn't even drip from a spoon, let alone slosh out of a bowl....
Read moreHospitality was OVER the TOP! LISA knew how to read her guests and treat them best. This sort of waitressing is what draws customers and keeps them coming back. Watching her interact with the team showed a concerted and concerned personality that the service industry thrives on. It insured that the food would be prepared and delivered well while maintaining a great atmosphere free of drama. Everything was tasty from the PECAN loaded waffle and chocolate/peanut butter waffle to the Sausage Egg and Hash brown bowl. TRACEY was on point to make us feel welcome as well and contributed positively to the first Waffle House experience for most of my family. Together these two ladies loved on our family and we very much enjoyed their company. We made new friends at Waffle House! The restaurant was clean behind the counter, at the tables, and in the restrooms. The parking lot had enough parking for our RV and the exterior of the building was well kept. We will mark this brunch stop as one of our favorites on...
