We had a cashier named Agnes and she was pretty unfriendly. She passive aggressively insulted my 3 month old baby, kept saying “wow he’s so small,” and even after I said no he’s actually not small for his age (he’s above the 50th percentile in both weight and height) she’s like “he must have been tiny when he was born.” I said no, he was 7lb 13oz. “Well he sure doesn’t look like it.” What is that even supposed to mean? In what universe is that intended to be a compliment or neutral comment toward a baby? As a breastfeeding mother who has been through a lot to get his weight where it should be that was extremely offensive to me. He had problems keeping on weight initially and I stayed up day and night until I got him back on track, went 3 weeks with only 6 hours of sleep total. So having a cashier who already started out with an attitude for no reason insult his weight was not appreciated. I hope she learns to either say something nice about a baby or just not speak. Read moreIf you have plenty of money to spare and are a hobby enthusiast shop here. I like shopping here for certain things like fabric, scrapbook paper pads, blank pieces of wood I can probably find at Lowe's and stickers. It is expensive for most things so I'm sure people only shop sales and clearance. However, I don't find the manager genuine at all. Who speaks to customers without making eye contact and not wait for an answer when they speak. Also, if you are waiting for their 90 percent off sale forget it. I heard the manager say "before I mark anything down to 90 percent I will throw it away". How about that. I think I will spend my hard earned money at Michael's and AC Moore for most things and save hobby lobby for when I want to pretend I am a millionaire for a day and not mind dealing with not so genuine employees. What happen to great...
