Love eating @ Red Lobster, despite the rising prices. Its never busy here, which is ironic, given the one in my Florida hometown sitting less than 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, is always crazy packed, always a wait. The restaurant doesn't serve any Gulf seafood, except possibly the shrimp, or scallops (food here mostly consists of farm-raised items now). Also, there are seafood restaurants out on the beach serving seafood so fresh it will bring tears of joy to your eyes. Yet, Red Lobster is killing it back home, who knew? Besides Red Lobster, of which I've never had a bad experience, either with my food, or the service. All of the servers & hostesses here are lovely & friendly. I do have an issue, make that two issues with Plato's Closet. A small & densely packed thrift shop aimed at teens & featuring items they will wear. My husband & I came in for the first time, maybe to buy shoes for him. Apparantly, there's a sign posted stating all backpacks must be left @ counter. We entered the store & didnt notice the sign. As we said hello to the clerk & began to walk towards shoe area, the clerk immediately raised her voice stating that the backpack must be left at counter, right now, or exit the store. Both of us looked at one another, shocked at the intensity we were hearing. I understand that stores have rules, as do most public places, but a 50 yr-old man & 48 yr-old woman, looking completely normal, really don't need to shop somewhere that treats potential customers like kleptomaniac boosters addicted to the thrill of shoplifting. She should have greeted us, asked us what we were looking for & made a suggestion, then, respectively stated that store policy is for all backpacks to be behind the sales counter until owner is ready to exit store. We haven't returned, plus, the merchandise is all completely overpriced. The sales tag prices are the same as buying item brand new in stores. Why would anyone buy used clothing at new clothing prices? Tuesday Morning is charming homewares store, full of cute & whimsical stuff, fair prices. Look for the sale items, those usually great deals & bargains. This store is never crowded, plenty of room to browse, always sales help nearby, in addition to being greeted & asked if you would like...

I gave it 4 stars because it is somewhat expensive for the prizes they give away with the rewards earned. Also, the machines don't spit out tickets like they used to so you don't really know how many points you're racking up. I liked the tickets because you actually feel like you're winning something. They have grabber machines that my 7 year old grandson loves, but they make it nearly impossible to grab a ball. He is autistic & gets frustrated quickly while trying to get a ball. All in all, it's still a fun place to go. Their is an admission charge of around $3 per person, than you buy a card to use on the machines. I spend roughly around $30-40 (including a popcorn) every time I take my grandson. We usually stay for around an hour, there isn't enough to keep him occupied for any...
ย ย ย Read moreThere are many businesses at Gresham Shopping Square including two that I patronize on a regular basis; Dutch Bros Coffee and Red Lobster. This time I went to Red Lobster for Lobsterfest, which was quite good. My wife and I both like lobster, so this was a good fit. I got the Maine Lobster Tail Duo for $42.99, with a baked potato and coleslaw. You would think that for that price they could have included a salad, but no. My wife had Lobster and Shrimp Topped Sirloin with baked potato and broccoli for $43.99. No salad for her either. The ubiquitous Cheddar Bay Biscuits made an appearance. We each had a Mango Lobsterita. Evidently the Mango Lobsterita is a margarita with a red plastic lobster on a red plastic chain. I drank mine with a straw, which gave me brain freeze. Service was Red Lobster average. The total bill was about $115 plus tip. It...
