Off The Charts Games — Attraction in Gresham

My husband and I just went into this store last night. We were looking for a new game to play together, but it turns out that Fridays are game night! We ended up staying and playing a few games, and we had an absolute BLAST!! The owner and his wife are very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about board games. The customers who were there for game night were also very friendly and welcoming, and invited us to join a game with them. The whole store just has a fantastic atmosphere, and they have four bookcases full of games to test out! They have a large selection for sale, as well. EDIT: Since Ron and Lynn sold the business and retired the store that has carried the name on is an empty shell.

Months after opening the store has so few games spaced across the store they could all be consolidated to one to two shelves.

The selection is nothing revolutionary and the average game likely owns 90% of what’s sold here.

Service is 50/50. One staff member was friendly the two times I visited; the third visit, a different employee barely looked up from watching a video on the computer.

Great place for gamers! They specialize in boardgames, but also have card games, gaming supplies, and puzzles. They have a demo game library, to try out the game before you buy. Ron and Lynn (the owners) are wonderful at explaining the games, and will sometimes play along with you, if time allows. They have an amazing open play night on Fridays, where the place is packed!
