Hampshire Mall — Attraction in Hadley

Thank you Autobahn Racing Team for an Amazing day of fun racing. After my positive experince at the Autobahn Track in Jacksonville FL while on vacation I decided to have my daughter's surprise 13th birthday party at Autobahn and was fortunate enough you had a location in Hadley Massachusetts at the Hampshire Mall. Choosing Autobahn for my daughter's party was initially a little challenging as we had to transport ten 12 and 13 year olds from CT well over an hour north to the Hadley location with all of the logistical challenges involved. It was further complicated by the fact I was trying to pull off a Surprise Party without my daughter finding out! The day after the big party I can say choosing Autobahn was the BEST decision I could have made for this years party.

Everyone on the Autobahn team was friendly and helped make my daughter's day exceptionally special. Jim the Events Manager and Brady our Event Captain were amazing with their hospitality and ability to help find creative solutions to help the party be a totally memorable event for the kids.

It is obvious there is lot of fast paced action occuring at Autobahn as they are focused on keeping the races moving so everyone can be happy. Realistically it is impossible to make everyone happy every time but that is exactly what Autobahn strives to do. The impressive part as a parent is that while all of that is going on their focus on SAFETY is ever present. If you’re looking to have a fun time in safe karts and at high speeds , then this is absolutely the place to be. This place is like my home, and it means more to me than most people know. In many ways it’s my safe place, because it’s where I go after a stressful week to cool off and just relax. The energy to this place is timeless, and no matter how many races I’ve done here over the years, it just never gets old. I felt like I joined a family when I joined Autobahn, because the team of people here on staff is always caring and energetic... and I can tell that they love racing and they love what they do. On a different level, when you keep coming back, and you start connecting with the other people that you meet on the track, that’s a really powerful bond to have, and it’s priceless because you’re not going to find that at your local bowling alley. I practically live at this racetrack. I promise, if they would let me, I’d set up my bedroom right on pit lane and be totally happy. I see myself here for a very long time to come. When I want to make friends and compete, I know where to go. When I’m stressed and need to cool off, I know where to go. When I’m looking to have fun, I know where to go. When the time comes to decide where my wedding is going to be, I’ll know where to go. This place is going to live inside of my marriage. Autobahn is a beautiful establishment that was very clean with extremely friendly employees they get (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) The price was what I expected being I've gone to plenty other karting establishments in the past. Given it's in a mall obviously the cost is slightly more.

On to the visit. This is a great place for youth to experience real karts for the first time. The cars are electric being so they can control the speed of the racer remotely. Nothing is worse than spending $50-$150 or more have a 9 or 10 year old smash a wall extremely hard the 1st time out and not have a good experience. My 9 year old had a blast! This is not a ride at your local mini golf they are racing karts.

Now on to why I gave 3 stars. (My driving experience) Being the Power can be controlled remotely can be good but also a bad thing as I found and I'm not complaining about top speed or acceleration in a whole but the inconsistency the car was almost dangerous the power comes on out of nowhere it's definitely not like a gas engine after a lap or two you see how the car feels and how it runs ypu don't need to worry about getting full power going into a corner and smashing a wall again it just felt sporadic.

The most important question will I be back? The answer is yes! Absolutely I will definitely bring my son there let him drive and get some more practice in before moving up to a place like pioneer valley indoor. With...
