Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Hadley

Upon visiting this area that we used to frequent my boyfriend and I were excited to try the new Popeyes location in hopes it would be great! Let me start by saying the very few of you leaving great reviews saying you do not know why bad reviews are being left....you are the very lucky few because after our experience yesterday I can assure you this place does not deserve even one star. We ordered our food and began the waiting game for food that was already prepared and on the counter but just simply was not getting packed because the employees had zero idea what they were doing. In our waiting time 4 people came inside having been in the drive thru to either get items that were missing or give orders back that were incorrect, the employees were arguing and as others came in to order there was not one smile or hello given to any customer they simply ignored them until they wanted to take their order. Eventually we got our food and shocker we had gotten wrong items in our order and the employee had gicen the incorrect meat that was purchased at the counter. Upon requesting the proper food the employee huffed and puffed as though it were our fault. The one benefit is the food was not bad but also, not the best either. As we ate I placed a dine in mobile order for an apple pie & coleslaw both of which were already prepared and clearly visible so when we were ready to go it would be ready. Nope, we were wrong as we waited along side others who had been waiting the whole time we ate one of the rudest managers in the grey shirt starts calling out numbers beyond our #. I ask if our order # is ready as they are now far beyond ours and she very rudely tells us no you have a mobile you will be last. There is no where I have gone where a mobile order is the last thing they do nor do they skip over the order to do others while the customer is there to pick it up. Finally, they are down to just our order up and they STILL are not doing it. The people next to us are of course annoyed but get their food as we wait. Minute later they come back missing food what a shock! The manager finally tells the other employee she can make our order now and then she asks what we got again a friggen apple pie and coleslaw took us almost 20 minutes!! She had such an attitude the entire time and seemed honestly to be doing it on purpose. I have honestly never met such a miserable group of workers and clearly it goes from the top down because the 2 female managers on last night were absolutley NASTY. Popeyes can offer all the pay in the world and these people would not have an idea how to run that store or treat a customer. It would be shocking if this store lasts without a major overhaul of management this place is a wreck and it is without a doubt an employee problem. Such a horrible and frustrating experience for not only us but many others in there at the time simply trying to get their orders. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else it will save...

This Popeye’s location is absolutely awful. I would avoid at all costs. The Pride gas station just down the street serves a much better quality product and the customer service is on point. This Popeye’s consistently serves low quality product which is hurried and lacks care of any kind. Depending on the time of day you may get lucky.

My last three visits have all been poor with me throwing away the majority of my order. The chicken is often undercooked, gummy, and even crunchy at times. My last visit the breading was nearly gone on all of my tenders and one bite of the chicken turned my stomach where I thought I would be ill.

The all Latino staff tries but cannot resolve customer service issues. They are too worried about speed and not quality. They are typically goofing around and eating in the back of the store. On a recent visit there, a customer accused a staff member of photographing his wife and a huge fight ensued. It was really creepy and scary. The owner does not care nor does the Popeye’s customer service team.

I will not return and I highly advise you to avoid as well. Especially if you are female or dining with a female guest. I don’t know if they were really taking photos of women, but I would not risk...

We went through the drive through for a quick lunch and ordered frozen lemonade, popcorn shrimp, chicken tenders, and Cajun fries. Upon driving up to the window we paid, received the frozen lemonade and were told to pull up and wait for "3 minutes" to receive our food. We didn't receive a receipt. After waiting 10 minutes I went into the store. The staff were out of sight in a back area apparently having a group meeting while we were waiting. They all came out at once and apologized to the waiting customers. I informed them that I had not received my food from the drive through and I was told to wait "3 minutes". Once I received my food, I looked in the bag and saw the chicken tenders. I asked about the popcorn shrimp and fries. They looked at the receipt, said they didn't put in our order for popcorn shrimp, but they would give us our fries. The manager was nice but the drive through employee seemed to have an issue with me bringing up her mistakes.

The food was pretty much what I expected from Popeyes: Not the best, but not the worst. Won't be returning to this...
