My spouse, adult son and I recently spent a wonderful week at the Hampton Inn in Hallandale, Florida. We all really liked the hotel and the team that served there - A LOT. I'll start with the team at the breakfast area. Edith and the whole team that maintained the breakfast area did a terrific job. They were very helpful and quite pleasant in refilling depleted items. They were also attentive to cleaning up areas. Breakfast is served from 6 am to 10 am. The food was fantastic. The breakfast was well very supplied - waffle maker, toast, lemon poppy pastries, muffins, Danishes, oatmeal, omelets, sausage, bacon cereal, juice, milk, almond milk, etc. You name it they had it - in abundance. The breakfast seating area was also quite delightful. It included a computer and printer - which Yosobel of the maintenance team quickly got working for me one day. The cleaning staff were very helpful and very friendly - creating a welcoming and warm - home away from home - kind of feeling. We met Kettly, Marie and Adriana (sp?) who were quite delightful and very hard working. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Kelly who was very hospitable and also attentive with any request. Fabiola at the front desk was, as her name suggests, also fabulous. The hotel offered 24/7 coffee and tea and, in the afternoon, and evening -cookies. Regarding the room itself, we had a room with two queen beds. The room was always cool despite the sweltering summer heat outside. It was evident that the maintenance team worked hard throughout the hotel. The room itself had all the amenities one might need - good wifi, microwave, fridge, safe, iron and ironing board. The outdoor pool was clean and well maintained. Parking is free and available. The hotel is in a good location relative to Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports and nearby beaches. We were able to easily get from the hotel to places like PAMM, MAD Arts, Florida Marlins park, Miami Community Radio, WDNA, and the St. Lawrence, Little Flower and Our Lady of La Vang parishes. We enjoyed nearby food places - Doggi's and the Baked Bear. This was the second stay for my spouse and son and it went as well as the first. Special thank you to all who made our stay wonderful - Kelly, Adriana, Edith, Kettly, Marie, Fabiola, Yosobel - and the whole team there. We are very grateful and thankful. Hampton Inn Hallandale has the formula down for what makes for a great hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are considering visiting...
Read moreGood afternoon,
To whom may concern
I recently stayed at your location. I would like to bring to your attention my experience during this time. On the night of 9/6/2023 I called to notify the front office delays on my arrival to the hotel. The front office associate was very nice and professional. On my arrival coming in to the hotel it was approximately 2:00am. I park on the back of the building. I walk to the front the door was locked. I try to open the door by hand not knowing that it was locked on purpose to what I assumed safety reasons. The front attendant at that time proceed to open the door and started telling me to don’t do that in an away very disrespectful. His attitude was extremely unprofessional and un necessary. I felt very uncomfortable in welcome. In all sincerity if it wasn’t due to the fact that it was late in to the night I would’ve canceled my reservation and go to a different hotel with better staff. The room was clean room 107 nicely located on the first floor the only suggestion regarding the room would be to ensure that the shower floor be better clean the floor felt slippery and unsafe. My message to the hotel and front office manager is to training better their night staff especially that agent it seems that he doesn’t know how to treat your customers with the respect and courtesy that we deserve. Please don’t let bad experiences or behavior from poorly trained employees affect your business after all is customers like myself that determine where to stay and if the hotel would be a good...
Read moreI had to be between Miami and Fort Lauderdale for 2 separate cruises. I chose this hotel for its location which is about equal distance from each cruise port. I actually had 2 stays here, separated by my 2 cruises. I stayed for one night, checked out, and then returned 2 days later for a 2-night stay.
The hotel has complimentary coffee and water in the lobby, and also complimentary breakfast each morning.
The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants, about a 10-minute walk.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with a mini-fridge and coffee maker.
The highlight of my 2 stays was the customer service. I asked if the hotel could hold part of my luggage for the 2 days I'd be on the cruise and until I checked back in. "No problem, of course" was the answer; nor was there any charge or holding fee to do so. I have to give a special shout out to Evangelina, who provided me excellent walking directions to the Target nearby, and who was always pleasant and helpful. I had an Amazon package delivered to the hotel and informed Evangelina and asked if she could call me in my room when it arrived, which she promptly did. The housekeeping staff was also helpful and attentive, promptly providing me with a couple of toiletry items I forgot to pack.
My stay was very pleasant and I would definitely...
