September 1, 2024: Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for lunch with my widows group because I had my registered service animal. We travel on Brightline from Palm Beach.. In the past years I've had an inviting experience. He's trained and lays on the ground never barks etc.. Love the food, ambience and service staff! Unfortunately, my understanding is they had a negative experience with a service animal and now you must keep them in a carrier only. Of course, I've never needed a carrier before and I don’t have one… we were unable to stay.. sadly I won’t be returning.. ——————————————————————— My experience on a very busy Preakness Day- May 20th was fabulous! After reading some negative reviews I asked Charles one of the Managers if I could look at the Buffet before being seated. He was so gracious and said yes! Wow! The Buffet was amazing! Very neat, clean, choices for every palette! Everything looked fresh and there was enough to feed an Army! it was busy but the lovely hostess offered me a choice of tables. I chose a table close to the buffet.. I had my service dog with me and didn’t want to leave the table for too long. I was quickly greeted by the most amazing server, Rita! A warm welcome, professional and friendly service made our experience 5 Star! A cold white wine was 1st to be served… The carving station had Prime Rib, Turkey and ham.. fresh made to order pasta station, jumbo shrimp cocktail, cheese boards, charcuterie trays, fresh fruit, salads galore, rice, ziti with sausage, meatballs, salmon, veggies, calamari, and so much more! Not to mention the Dessert station! I started with shrimp cocktail, brie cheese, prosciutto, salami, walnuts, calamari and popcorn shrimp. The shrimp were firm crisp and cold and absolutely delicious with their special cocktail sauce. A perfect way to start my afternoon of grazing! Yes, you can dine for hours… while watching the races and simulcasts, placing bets! Next was my favorite Prime Rib! I asked for 2 pieces and rare please! I added some au jus.. the prime rib was rare and delicious! Cut like butter.. piping hot! I also had the ziti with sausages, also delicious and piping hot. Now to the huge dessert station! I chose 3 mini desserts. The chocolate cake, coconut macaroon, and almond cake. The mini chocolate cake was easily the best I’ve ever had! Moist and creamy and delicious! The almond cake was also delicious as was the coconut macaroon. I truly believe this buffet was a great value! An all you care to eat for hours with great service and delicious food! I highly recommend and can’t...

My party of 6 with 2 being first timers at Ten Palms and Gulfstream were Wowed with the service and food. I highly recommend Ten Palms not just for the big races but for Dinner also. 😋 Again this is an update for awesome 👌🏾 service. We will definitely continue dining at Ten Palms. Marie Pittman-Francis
I must say the food is good. I can't say the same for the staff at the counter to check in for your reservations. My husband and I plus 4 friends book every year for Kentucky Derby and Breeders cup races. This is the second year we arrive and I would like to say gentleman but he is no gentleman by far. Taller heavy set Caucasian male with grey hair always gives us a problem with our seating reservations. Last year we were told we didn't book for an inside table with a television even though we had the booking in our phone. He insisted we would have to accept an outside table or nothing. I was Cleary taken aback by his demeanor and refusal to honor our reservations. Fast forward to this year May 6th Kentucky Derby race we arrive early as always 11:00am proceed to the restaurant. Guess who is at the desk and once again he states that he can't seat us at the inside table with a television as our reservations says. Now the point of making reservations and at least 2 months in advanced is to be accommodated with my seating choice. When questioned why we couldn't be seated according to our reservations he states "Inside tables with T.V's are only for an owner or trainer". The statement alone was an insult to my intelligence because that isn't true. The attitude shown to us was just short of saying we meaning people of color should be seated in the outdoor section!!!! My money is green and spends like everyone else's and we do spend a considerable amount to enjoy the races. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this kind...
Read moreI had booked brunch for 6 people for the Preakness day. Making the online booking I requested a table by the window for race viewing, as my grandmother (who is 90, traveled from the UK to visit her great grandson and has never seen a live race before) has limited mobility and is not able to walk around alot. When I called to enquire about my booking and request I was first answered by a gentleman with a stern 'HELLO?' . It made me second guess I was calling the correct place. I then proceeded to ask him about my request and, in a slightly rude reply, told me they have over 300 people booked in and they cannot guarantee a table by the window, which I completely understand that that is your policy, and I have no issues with that at all. He proceeded to tell me I needed to put in a request, to which I told him (again) i did online ,and then he answered again, more rudely than the first time, 'We cannot gurantee your request'. I have no issue at all with requests not being guaranteed, but I did not appreciate they way I was spoken to. I had booked this weekend as my Grandmother is a huge horse racing fan and as a surprise we wanted to take her as its her last week with us. Unfortunately, as we are not guaranteed our request, we had to cancel as we wouldnt want to risk having a table with no viewing and then have her not able to walk around and walk down to the tracks with ease. I understand the policy with requests not guaranteed, and respect that, but I did not respect the gentleman on the phone. I would have expected a bit more decorum from a...
