My family went to this place on April 21, 2019 and saw Captain Marvel. We recently just moved from ohio to Pennsylvania about two months ago, so yesterday we decided to have a family night at the movies. First upon arrival we ordered our tickets from the concession stand. Then after ordering our tickets we ordered popcorn. I like to eat my popcorn with jalapeƱos, when I asked for JalapeƱos the guy told me we donāt sell jalapeƱos I was taken back by that response, not we are out of them. No we donāt serve them. Itās 2019 what movie theater doesnāt serve JalapeƱos. Then we get into the actual showing room for the movie and they donāt have reclining seats. I couldnāt believe that, the seats they have are soooo uncomfortable especially for long movies like Captain marvel. They donāt turn the showing room lights completely off so if you sit at the very top well good luck. This place is sooo outdated and reminds me of the movies theaters back when I was a kid in the 90ās. If anyone says this place is nice has obviously never been to a new updated movie theater where they have Reclining seats, they turn the lights completely off during the movie, and actually serve JalapeƱos I definitely give this place the lowest rating possible. You need to update a lot and catch up with 2019. We definitely will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe like being able to butter and salt our own popcorn, but there are several drawbacks to this cinema.
They've got those "make your own Coke" machines, they're fun, but they really slow things down when people are waiting, there's also only one place near them to put your lid on, and it's set back between the two machines, I don't think it's even 2' wide, this also slows things down.
Several times, the show was supposed to start say, at 5:45, the projectionist didn't even start the preshow until then. It would normally be running before the start time. The "previews" should have started at 5:45 and the actual movie would have started at 6 p.m. - now the show doesn't actually start until 6:15... when you're working around a real families' schedule, sitting around for an extra half an hour makes a difference.
Lastly, I don't know why, but their seats are uncomfortable. I wish I could be more specific, but i can't nail down a reason. Anywhere else, I'm fine, but there I always end up with...

A couple of things I haven't witnessed in past is definitely worth mentioning. The concession attendants were very friendly and courteous. A special 'atta-boy' goes out to Josh (if name is incorrect, send me notice and I will correct). His Dad is active duty Navy. Folks it has been far to long to encounter such respect and sincere smile with willingness to help that this young man showed the full-time we were there. Koodos to his parents for instilling basic but valuable values in this young man.
Lastly, I have never been in a theater that had leather, reclining seats. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to watch a movie or take a snooze? š The theater was very clean and I felt no stickiness or dropped popcorn..etc..on the floor. This appeared to be a well maintained Theater that shows...
