I love it.. I always mention to add chicken tenders in the menu or some kind of food and they did since than I don't have to travel to other theaters like the one in York or a Carlisle AMC. I love those but this has improved. They are just missing the plain caramel powder for the popcorn but is not like they will have every humans preferences ^^ bathrooms are always clean and never had an issue with stuff they are awesome sometimes they don't smile and look annoyed, I hope they enjoy working there as much people like going there. Just want to thank each stuff for all the care, attention and efforts put to make everyone's time pleasant during the movies. As for the guess my only comment is please try cleaning after yourself, " if you can " some people just make so much messes I feel sad for the workers. And during movies I always take both of my kids 3 and 8. My recommendation to parents is always bring a kids blanket..sometimes it gets real cold 🥶 . Always have the conversation with your kids about expectations make sure they went to the restroom before leaving home or the movie starts, the food options keeps them full through a double feature. We watch buzz lightyear and Jurassic park. Son/3 fell asleep after eating and putting a blanket over while son/8 was a little scared we make sure to cover his eyes during scary parts, he cover his ears 😂 as we hug him. Now if is something were he would had been 😢 I would had just walk out of there. Chocolate keeps them warm and happy popcorn is a must always removed their shoes when sitting through movie specially if they light up. If kids has questions make sure he knows you will answer after the movie please stop yelling at your kids to shut up it hurts their feelings and makes things worse. Please take them to the bathroom and talk to them you may sacrifice a bit of the movie instead of missing most of it because your yelling at him/her... the whole entire movie plus others can't pay attention because you are louder than your kid. Thank you and hope this helps...
Read moreI've watched movies at R/C Hanover 16 for over 15 years. The floors, bathrooms and theaters has always been clean. The staff has always been polite and friendly. But I've noticed that the staff always changed faces. Likely because they will only hire young college age people and seemingly a few others - no older than perhaps in their early thirties. It sure seems like they refuse to hire people that reflects the Hanover Community; not even people within their immediate area. This lack of hiring older people or people of color clearly shows who they really are. I can walk next door to Home Depot, Kohl's or Lowe's and find the reflection of the community in every corner of their businesses. Additionally, the hiring practices of seemingly every business in the area are hiring appropriately except R/C 16. Also, their new RCX Treme sound is not good, no bass. And although there are speakers everywhere there are no improved sound, only a shaker installed in the seats to emulate bass. The older seats that simply leaned back was better then these weird/awkward recliner seats which has head rests that are too large, which makes it uncomfortable to sit upright with your feet on the floor. Your neck will feel stiff pretty soon. The popcorn seems to be mixed with old stale popcorn, and often on the stale side. I use professional style popcorn, popcorn oil/butter, and popcorn salt at home in my popcorn maker for years, it only tastes this type of stale after being a day old. Therefore, I stop buying it. I love movies, but its becoming disturbing to vist this theater when the managers are showing me who they are by their hiring practices and their deception of fresh popcorn. I hope the managers do not respond to my post with empty words like I see in other posts. Actions speak...
Read moreWelllll, There's good news and bad news! First the good! RC Theater is very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and we highly recommend it . Now the bad! We experienced something this evening that was just beyond words and just proves the deterioration of society and just how much selfishness has taken over.
A young mother puts her own selfish wants over the welfare of her infant and takes her defenseless infant child to the R rated movie Halloween! Oh, she took the baby out whenever it fussed so as to be considerate to other viewers but what the hell was she doing there in the first place? Seriously? Ever heard of a baby sitter? Oh, can't afford one? Hmmm, how much did you spend there? $25 ? Ever heard of WAITING a bit for the dvd or on demand while the child is in bed? You can save money too! Duhh!
Even Michael Myers stopped killing people long enough to shake his finger at her...
We approached management after the movie and even though he empathized, there's no law against it.... Use common sense young mother...forget your rights and do what's right for your baby!
Yes, Mr. Dylan, it's happening fast.. "For the times they are...
