Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in North Carolina

Terrible customer service! Went to this Cold Stone last night and received the worst customer service ever. It was 3 of us including a child so it took about a minute for my son to make his choices and the cashier kept repeating herself saying "How can I help you?". I told her twice to give us a moment, but she kept asking so we rushed through our orders then waited for her to ring us up, one of our orders was a milkshake, she didn't even BOTHER asking what we'd like to put in it, so we told her we'd like to add a few things, she stopped what she was doing to tell us "that'll be extra". I come to Cold Stone's OFTEN so I know it's extra and I don't appreciate the assumption that we couldn't afford it. There was NO LINE, and they had a few more HOURS before closing so I'm not sure why they were so hasty. While waiting at the register she apparently left our ice cream cups up on the counter without saying a word and we were already by the register so I can't understand why she'd place the cups so far from us.

i specified that i wanted the chocolate silk shake and that I'm allergic to dairy. this is normally made without any dairy products. the employee called another employee over and said they're out of almond milk and could make it with their smoothie mix base. i asked if that has any dairy products in it and she said no. she didn't check the label at that time so that was a red flag. while they started preparing my shake, i decided to google ingredients to double check and the smoothie base does in fact contain dairy, this is why I can't have any smoothies or other shakes. so i asked her again, "are you sure this doesn't have dairy? because online says the smoothie base has dairy" she said she could check the label for me and came back saying nowhere on the container does it say it contains it, it's just like a sugar powder mix. which is not true. My husband and I stopped for some ice cream while visiting Concord Mills. We love Cold Stone but this was our first time at this location. Very disappointing. Two employees were working but we only have complaints about one. The lady who started our order was wonderful. The older lady who finished out our order literally threw down the bowl she thought my husband said he wanted and said “I’m just not understanding your order” after he told her he had said he wanted chocolate ice cream, not the vanilla she was getting out. She continued to talk to him & treat him very rudely. Not to mention what she ended up making wasn’t even what he wanted..
