MAJOR CROSS-CONTAMINATION GOING ON @ THIS LOCATION! STAFF SEEMS UNAWARE OF WHAT THAT EVEN MEANS! I ordered a regular beef cheese n onions. I watch the grill cook grill my beef and onions and then cheese the bun and lay it on top of the grilled onions and meat. Then he grabs a few of the frozen chicken patties for another order peels the deli paper off and lays them on the grill. Then, WITH THE SAME GLOVED HANDS GRABS MY ALREADY PREPARED SANDWICH TO PUT IN A BASKET AND SELL TO ME! I quickly notice this and tell him that thats cross CONTAMINATION and that he shouldnt be touching raw/unprepared/frozen foods with the same gloves you grab an item that is already cooked to serve to me. He seemed confused at first then says oh the chicken isnt raw its already cooked. Well it looks pink to me and Im standing in front of the grill so the optics are horrible. He remade my sandwich with such an attitude throwing things around the grill half the amount of onions than the 1st sandwich had but whatever. I barely finished one half of what amounts to a SteakUm sandwich on a subway bun. Don't bother. Will still contact the NC DHEC though..the 99 score might be...

I wish I had thought to take a picture of it, but it was a very sad sight. Not South Philly style by any stretch of the imagination.It was supposed to also have pepper and onions but it had maybe one sliver of a pepper on it. I asked the manager if he could add some chicken and he said that was the amount that comes on a small. We then left and came back to return our meals because that sandwich was just unacceptable. He seemed to be irritated, but guess what, customer is always right. I have worked in many customer service positions and you donât argue with a customer. If they are unhappy, you should try to reach a happy medium. Anyway, He performed the refund and even had me swipe my card. He said the refund should be posted. I said ok, but I imagined it would take a few days to post. A few days later, the charge had posted but no refund. I ended up having to call my bank to dispute the charge. For whatever reason the guy that was bagging the orders gave another customer the wrong sub, which was supposed to be hers. He realized he handed the wrong sub to the guy and instead of correcting his issue and apologizing. He said âoh you let him cut in front of youâ it took them about another 6 minutes to remake the sub. It was a white male working the register with a shorter black male cooking the meat with studs on, didnât get their names.I think these employees just need better training, because the cook didnât know how to properly cut the steak and the other guy didnât know how to wrap a sub without the ends still being out. I have managed both a sub restaurant and I just expected better service. When it comes to the food Iâm even more disappointed, the steak is try, pretty flavorless, canât taste the cheese at all, the roll kinda reminds me of the buns they served us in middle school. So over all just do yourself a favor and walk 45 steps to your right and order a sub...
