Just so you know, they do not even deserve one star here. If I could give a negative score, I would.
I had the most awful experience with the Best Buy in Greensburg, PA 15601 and pretty much Best Buy all around. I am extremely disappointed in the service I was provided by this store in particular. I have a non working Samsung 55” LED 4K TV, that was purchased December 2, 2018 with a 5 year Geek Squad protection plan. The TV will not turn on at all. Over 12 hours now. I called Samsung and they said it’s not under any manufacturing warranty and that it should be replaced. I called the store and was told I need to call the 800 # . Called the 800# to be informed I should use the online chat service. So I did that to be told that a tech could not could come out until Sept or Oct. It is July 16!!!! I said is this my only option, he said I could call the store back or call Samsung and see what they can do. So I call the store again and was told by the person who answered the phone, that basically they could not help either and that they had no boxes or shipping materials to even send a tv my size back. I have a 55" tv...REALLY?? I said I wanted to talk to the manager he confirmed this with. She was even more mean and rude than the first guy. She then told me they do not even have a tv there to replace mine with. I didn’t say it had to be the exact same. I didn’t care if it was smaller, less features, just something that worked. But again...REALLY?? Best Buy has no tvs??? At the very least could they not have offered to contact another store that maybe could have helped me??? To say the least I will never shop at best buy again. I might as well buy my TVs from Walmart considering this is the level of support I get going to a "electronics store" and paying extra for my "Geek Squad" 5yr protection plan. What a joke. Thanks for nothing. Very disappointing @bestbuy You might want to invest in some more customer experience training at the Greensburg, PA store. Unless that doesn’t matter anymore.
On Best Buys part though, I guess it’s what they want. People buy TVs add the protection plan. A couple years later it goes bad. They make it almost impossible to use the protection plan and you end up going through the same vicious cycle again and again.
I guess I should only buy 15" tvs from now on. I mean why buy large TVs anymore?? God help the people who bought any larger...
Read moreWell we bought an Orbi on 9/22/2018. for our new home.wifi /house phone and security system,Which we bought at Best buy also.. We spoke with Brendan who was supposed to be an Expert. And was there for appox.2 1/2 hour with Brendan the Expert and a Manager. Who promised us this is what we needed. Do to our jobs. We work long hours.and not much time off. And wasn't planning on returning this item. So last night on 10/2/2018.We finally got a chance to open and hook the Orbi up. Out of the box I noticed that there was no phone jack for our house phone which we Explained. To the Expert and Manager the day we spent over $800.So we call Best buy a guy with the geek squad said we have the wrong one So we need to return it. So today 10/3/2018. We go to Best buy Immediately we we told it's been past 15 days. So we speak with the Manager Meghan. Who basically called me and my wife "liers" that we didn't explain to them correctly. Meghan was very rude. So I said go check your security cameras and you will see how long we were here with your to employees. Meghan just ignored us. After about 20 minutes of arguing back and forth she gave us a gift card for the store. Well we spend on an average of $2500 to $3000 a year at Best buy. if Corporate would look up our account. They would see. And with our new home we were there to buy a new TV and surround sound for our new home. But after we pay off what we owe Me and my wife decided to close our account and spend our money some where with better customer service. In 12 years of shopping here. This was our first return. I wish I could receive a call from there bosses. But nowadays we are just little fish in a big sea. I think Brendan and Meghan need re training. Since Best buy just lost a customer who spent more than the rude manager and expert probably make. Corporate can view the video of how she treated us with other customers...
Read moreThe staff was nice enough, but they are salespeople I spent a lot of money to order a gaming pc there and I never received it. When I went into the store for resolution the man "helping" me pretty much told me there was nothing he could do. Contacted Best buy customer care they said they could re-ship the product because ups lost it (not best buys fault if I'm being completely fair). Rep for best buy customer service said they will reship it and give me a confirm email in 24 hours. 48 hours go by I message the customer service on my app they said it would be 72 hours not 24 (said it was due to a language barrier between me and the previous rep). So, I wait 72 hours pass I call the customer service again at this point I just want a refund. I didn't get any confirmation emails. So, I request they refund my 2k it's a lot of money to just be floating around during the holiday season. 48 hours later I have nothing in my inbox no confirmation no re-assurance they are going to refund my money nothing. I am completely gutted, as a salesperson myself I am very understanding, but all the customer care people do is tell you what you want to here and nothing actually gets done. I really hope I actually get my refund. If you plan on buying something from best buy for a large sum of money that "has to be shipped to my house"; which was also annoying because I would have rather picked it up in store; please just don't. Drive to the microcenter in Ohio especially if you want to get into a gaming pc. This was going to be my first one, and a Christmas gift to myself. I am so upset about the way I've been gaslighted about the product and my money this...
