I stopped by the Greensburg Walmart a little while ago and had a pretty good shopping experience. I'm posting some pictures of specific aisles, for things I like. And things you might too. They have a full Dunkin' Donuts in this location too. Aisle A4 Spaghetti Sauce. They have the full complement of Rao's Pasta sauces which I feel are the best on the market. Rao's is a NYC establishment that's been around for a while. Here's a quote directly from their website: "Rao’s sauces are simmered slowly and made in small batches with only the best ingredients, like pure Italian olive oil and hand-picked, naturally ripened tomatoes from southern Italy. Our sauces have no tomato blends, no paste, no water, no starch, no filler, no colors, no added sugar." Rao's has been around since the turn of last century. Aisle A16 Coffee. They've got a decent selection of Starbucks coffees if you like to do an at-home pour over brew. If you drink Sumatra, they recently changed this to a single origin brew, so I guess the farms they use are now, different. It tastes different. How do I feel about that? Jury's out. Aisle A15 Baking Flour. So this brand, King Arthur is almost as old as America itself. Founded in 1790, they make great quality flours for breads and your daily kitchen needs. Sometimes when I feel like baking, I'll use theirs. It'll fill your kitchen with a familiar aroma and the bread just tastes great. Just a FYI, this location is pretty busy. The fresh produce section gets lots of love - they had everything, but some foodstuffs like bell peppers and kale were low in stock.

You can get anything you need satisfaction guaranteed super low prices even designer apparel. Sales reps are usually very kind and helpful especially in Walmart.

This is your average shopping plaza. A nice selection of stores and restaurants including Walmart.

Met a friend for lunch at Steak and Shake because we both had gift cards and coupons to use. Was ok, nothing to brag about, and waitress was asked to bring out shakes over after we finished our meals, she brought them right away, we didn't see her again until she dropped off the check. Not impressed with service. Wasn't more than 3 tables filled, 4 employees standing around chatting, let me standing at entrance for 9 minutes before coming over to seat me. Looked over my way a couple of times before walking over to seat me. If she were busy, I certainly understand. But it wasn't till she saw me walking to a booth to seat myself that she bothered to do her job. So not the way to start off a good...

I remember the Old "GREENGATE MALL" in GREENSBURG, PA. When My Wife and I were dating, We'd drive up From PITTSBURGH. I always ENJOYED driving to places outside of the City. We liked to see OTHER Places like "GREENGATE MALL" & "WESTMORELAND MALL". Both locations were ALWAYS BUSY w/ Money Spending SHOPPERS. What's SAD is that the OWNERS of "GREENGATE MALL" let it become a RUNDOWN TRASH PIT. Store Tenants were LEAVING in Droves. On Our LAST VISIT to this MALL, It was still OCCUPIED by at least 4 Businesses. Seeing SOME OF THE OLD pictures of the ONCE PROUD "GREENGATE MALL", You do think back to the time WHEN it was FUN to STOP IN & Shop or JUST...
