This is a wonderful church filled with friendly people and led by pastors who genuinely love God and people with their whole hearts regardless of age, color, economic status or anything else, and model it in the way they live their everyday lives. They do outreach into the community to help those in need, serve our kids with their Crosswalk Center and programs regardless of whether they attend 1st Baptist or not, send mission teams to areas struck by tragedy, and feed your soul each week with great sermons and bible study offered in many different Sunday and Wednsday class's. There's so much more. If you are searching for a special place for you as a single person or for your family try 1st Baptist. We found it several years ago and never left. It's now a part of our everyday lives and are so thankful our friends told...

My only memory of this church was the first time my mother and I attended in the 90’s...and I was born in Pardee and left the state when i joined the Navy in the early 2000’s. In the south, if you aren’t a member of the biggest lower cased B “baptist church”, you are forsaken. After nearly a decade of being ridiculed, my mum gave in and took me and my sister to First baptist.

At the door, some facial-wart covered creep “greeter” forced a kiss onto the mouth of my mum. I witnessed it. We sat through the service. After the service, my mum refused to go back. I was disgusted. 30+ years I remember this…I can’t imagine it’s...

I attended this morning at the 10:30 service because I was in town visiting family. Great service and wonderful message on I Samuel. David wanted to build a temple for God but God said no through the Prophet Samuel, but God said yes about building a dynasty through David’s line.
