My sister and I have been to this bar many times to get cheap drinks and listen to music. Tonight I was very disappointed. My sister and I each ordered a drink (sex on the beach and a margarita) to start off. When the bartender brought us our first receipt, it said margarita $2.00. Since it was 5:00 I thought "Wow! Great Happy Hour special!" (since the Mexican resturant by my house serves $2.99 margaritas on a daily basis). My sister and I decided to stay here and keep drinking the cheap margaritas. With each drink we ordered, the bartender would bring us a new bill saying $2.00 per margarita. Finally, it was time to cash out. I asked for the final receipt and it stated $6.00 per margarita totaling $30.00 for 5 of them. I brought this to the bartenders attention and she told me I was "reading it wrong" the whole time. After asking for a second time, the bartender immediately called the manager. The manager was very quick to give me one margarita for free and mentioned the system messed up. At first this seemed reasonable but I still had questions about the price . Needless to say, I asked for the manager and she asked me "How 'drunk' I was prior to coming to this bar" since I could not understand what she was saying and also that she could not comprehend the words coming out of my mouth. I then proceed to mention that it was HER computer, not me, who initially made the mistake. Then, the owner came up to me and told me how "ridiculous" it was to think a margarita could actually be $2.00. I felt the way these two talked to me was very inappropriate. I kept trying to explain my side until the owner asked "Do you even know simple addition?". Long story short, after this point she kept threatening to call the police and would NEVER give me back my original receipt with the $2.00 margaritas to prove my case. I ended up being the bigger person and paid BUT the staff was VERY RUDE. I am all for local businesses but my family, friends and co-workers will never go back to...
Read moreWell let me just start out by saying that if you go and you get Colleen as your waitress you are S.O.L. She is probably the worst server that I have encountered in years. McDonald's employees have treated me with more respect and care. This review is not based upon the food, but rather the service. The food is pretty good. I always think their food does its job as far as a sports bar goes. However Colleen was so horrible that I could do without their food for the rest of my life. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch on our way out of town and somehow got lucky enough to have her as our server. We sat down and she took our order and then did not check on us the for the whole hour that we waited on a simple hamburger and fries. There were maybe three other tables to serve in the whole place, so I found the wait and her lack of care for us pretty ridiculous. Then when she brought us our food she just sat it down and did not say anything not even a "Sorry for the wait." Then after we finished our food she brought us our check by throwing it on the table. I was beyond furious. She did not refill our drinks or anything while we were there. Needless to say she did not get a tip. I have worked in the food service and I am usually extremely understanding especially if my server is kind to me. She was not and she deserved the tip that she got. Honestly it was disgusting how we were treated because to me it seemed that she was specifically targeting us. I am not sure if it was because we appear younger or what because I am always very kind to those who serve me at places. It doesn't matter what I did she is the server bottom line. Never going here again. There are much better places to eat in Hendersonville like the Wendy's down the street where I at least expect the...
Read moreCo- Owner (bigger built, black hair) Bans me due to a situation that happened off premises. Owner was having his own night out at Hannah Flannigans. Using the trash can as leverage because he was so drunk he couldn’t stand up on his own accord too long. However I like everyone else was just trying to sober up, when he was telling me that I was crazy and I needed to go home because I was bothering people. Needless to say there was a crowd of individuals and he was the only person who felt that way. He continued to say the same things over and over as I stood quietly, not giving him any reaction that would make the situation worse. Not only was he slurring as he talked but he could barley keep his balance as he was staggering to get closer to me to try and intimidate me. By the end he tried to apologize saying “if I offended you I am sorry” after having to hear it for 5 minutes straight I still didn’t acknowledge him. Then as he’s leaving in his van he hits a curb.
Nonetheless because all this happened off premise and he was apparently sorry for being offensive I didn’t think he would have banned me until I came to his bar the Dugout a different night and he informed me that I was banned. I asked for what? he response was “well I don’t know I wasn’t here”. Bravo bravo way to showcase yourself in this way of being an awesome human and owner of a business....
