New Year walk/hike/bike🎉 An unusually sunny day in Beaverton and we brought the kids out for some sunshine and activity. The kids loved riding on the mixed use trail, and we walked behind at a steady pace. Our total out and back from the trailhead turning left was about 3 miles total. The kids would have gone longer if we let them. trail is easy to use and extends north and south for a longer walk. easy parking for unloading the bikes and there is a park there for the kids to play in. to many people - not sure if it was a one off or not because of the Holiday but be prepared for a bit of traffic. not a restroom...

Great for an easy walk, no more than 2 hours to walk the whole thing and that's if your taking your time. Lots of little bridges, the creek itself, beautiful shrubbery and trees; not many flowers though. Great to bike. Great for dog walks. They have a couple little dog parks. Great for little kids because they have parks and playgrounds along the trail. A disc golf course too. There is a bunch of places to enter and exit if you just want to do part of the trail; with free parking in some places. Best trail in Hillsboro but not the best easy trail I've ever been on. Would highly recommend trying it out seeing if...

I recently moved to the area from Northern California. I assumed there would be many smooth trails for road-biking since Oregon seems to be a very outdoorsy state. This trail was extremely disappointing, the road wasn't too road-bike friendly, the trail is short in length, the bridges are incredibly rough on road-bike tires, and you have to stop quite a bit to cross traffic lanes.

I have yet to find a road bike friendly trail that is also greater than 2 miles long. Missing those 12+ mile...

The trial is mainly cement and wooden bridge.... it's not a dirt trial therefore a hardcore hiker wouldn't enjoy much. There is no public restroom and there is a whole bunch of tiny flies flying in groups along the trail therefore I suggest wear a glasses before it gets into your eyes like it got into mine. Trail is clean with no trash littering. There's a small little creek flowing along the trial. There's people there playing or shooting disc golf.

We loved our walk on the Rock Creek Trail. We started at Orenco Woods Nature Park (which is beautiful in its own right) and walked all the way to Hwy 26 and back. Lots of company on the walk, including bicycles and frisbee golf players which got distracting at times. Over all we liked the trail and I rate it 5 stars cause it is well maintained, so local and a long walking space.
