My Secret Closet — Attraction in Hillsborough

Will never shop or use this shop for consignments again. Over 15 years using this place and always had great experiences until today. Upon , taking items in told the long gray haired woman that does the taking of items, I needed a cart as I’d just had surgery 6 days ago. She said”well I can’t stop what I’m doing to help you”, in which I said. I don’t need your help, I need a cart as I can’t lift these items u have a six inch cut on my leg from surgery. She then had the gall to say, “Well who loaded your car”? In which I replied I paid my neighbor, not that it was her business! She then proceeded to help take a few things out of my car with an attitude. When it was time to go, I went in to see what she was sending back, which I knew would be a lot since I ticked her off. She then put a box of my things on the pavement, after I just told her I couldn’t lift and needed help. Not only will I never go back. My two daughter in laws will never go back, nor anyone else I can tell this too. I hope this long gray haired woman never has a health problem and needs a helping hand as God may chose to repay her, for her selfish, in compassionate attitude towards a client that’s helped with their business for a long time. Love this consignment shop and their hardworking staff. I've gotten many useful items here. Two adjoining buildings of clothing, accessories , furniture, housewares, decor, man cave items, small exercise equipment and a few select books and more. Remember - when you bring in your stuff, things need to be in excellent condition. All clothes clean and on hangers. Their website spells out the what and when. They can only take what they know will readily sell in today's current market. So don't take things personally if they don't take some of your items, ok? On a road trip, my sister and I found this nice consignment shop in Mebane and the people there told us there was another location and it was close to where we lived. My sister pestered me for a month until I went with her to check it out. It was so much better than the one in Mebane. This place was so amazing with a front section full of shoes and a back section with purses. Whatever your size, there was so many nice things that it didn't take long to get an armful.
