Yesterday (07/26/2021) morning, we called VerizonWireless Customer Care, twice, the second time was in an effort to correct errors that they made during the first call. Both times we had to deal with automated attendants that didn't work properly and had to call back several times before we got to a human being. (For the sake of the readers of this review, we are leaving out a lot of detail on the poor service.)
Out of frustration, we searched for the nearest VerizonWireless Store (Cellular Sales Store) in an effort to deal with a real person face-to-face. We are currently on vacation in northern GA and drove 30+ minutes to Hilton Head, SC, which was the closest VerizonWireless Store.
Upon arrival, we were IMMEDIATELY greeted by Taylor Peacock who had a big smile on his face and gave us a very warm welcome. We immediately felt that we made the right decision making the drive.
We spent 10-15 minutes complaining to Taylor about the poor VerizonWireless Customer Care service and what we were originally trying to accomplish. In about 1 to 2 minutes, Taylor fixed the issues.
It still amazes us that we spent about 2+ hours on the phone with VerizoneWireless Customer Care who should have done what Taylor did in the time that Taylor did it in. Plus, VerizonWIreless Customer Care was trying to sell us additional "packages", at a major premium and that we didn't need, instead of fixing the issues that they created. Additionally, they would not revert us back to our original plan.
We are so appreciative to Taylor and the Cellular Sales Team. We asked Taylor how we could write a review for him and the Store to show our sincere appreciation. In response, Taylor responded with such appreciation that we wished we could do even more.
Cellular Sales showed us the best Customer Service that we want to recommend them highly.

Read moreBest Verizon store in the area. I purchased a phone (LG V10) from Adam on 6/17. Adam was great, helping me make needed modifications to my existing plan and going out of his way to explain surcharges and fees in layman's terms. Furthermore he followed up to ask how I liked the phone and to be sure that all bases were covered. Not once, in 15+ years of purchasing phones, has a salesman called to follow up. Very impressive customer service.
After two days with the V10, I realized that (this otherwise great phone) wasn't to my personal liking. I needed to exchange/return. I went in fearing the worst, but met Jason who was incredibly efficient and courteous in expediting my return. Jason patiently explained the process and tried to help find a model that would better fit my needs. Ultimately, I had to purchase my phone from another retailer due to time constraints on my end, but I truly wish I could have purchased the phone through Verizon Cellular Sales.
All in all, service at this store is leaps and bounds better than any other phone retailer. Salesmen like Adam and Jason will take the time to explain plans and devices, without esoteric wording or any nonsense. Read moreWe went into the store last Wednesday to switch from AT&T to Verizon. Chandler and a female manager were super helpful. They went out of their way to find the best offers for us and to safely move our phone numbers over. They were very patient and that was essential because this process took about 6 hours. We left thinking eveything was working, but it soon became apparent that one of the numbers was not working. We went back into the store the next day. Chandler was there and he tried to help us but when he needed help from another manager, a man whose name I don't know, he basically ran us out of the store telling us we would just have to wait for the port to complete. Fortunately, Chandler had provided us with support contact info and clues about the problem. I called support again after three days only to find that the port was never going to go through without action. Customer service helped me get the info needed and then pushed my port through, at which point my phone started working. I was unnecessarily without phone service for three days because this guy wouldn't help us on his faulty hypothesis that time would solve the problem.
