Uptown Cheapskate Holland — Attraction in Holland Charter Township

I've been to hundreds of consignment stores, as well as many other uptown cheapskate stores. This one caters to a specific demographic (think high school girls and lululemon). It seems every time I sell items here the girl going through my clothes is barely 18. I'm not saying they don't know what's "in fashion", but the don't carry a large variety. Payouts at this specific store are low and they are super picky in regards to what they're taking. This might be a great place to shop at (example I just found a Johnny Was piece for $15), but selling here is dissapointing. Whoever sold that johnny was piece literally received $3 for it which is insane. While I sold stuff here there were 4 other people picking up, all whom they didn't buy anything from. This location will probably be on my no go list going forward. They only want my absolute best stuff...

I love to go thrifting and hit up consignment shops because I love a good deal, who doesn't right? The staff was super friendly and helpful but not pushy as for prices, the prices are VERY reasonable, I didn't realize till I got home but I bought a dress that had it's original tag on it for $79 and I got it for $21.99 I think that's a pretty good deal as for sizes it's pretty all inclusive from small to xxl. I will definitely be adding this to my rounds next time I come back to Holland to spend the day with my sister to do...

When I walked in, I was taken back by how gorgeous the store space was! This Uptown location has blown away all my expectations of second hand shopping. I was pleased to find out that Uptown not only has a large selection of “just like new” clothing and accessories, but they also have “100% new” items too!
