It has been a while since I have found a very good Vietnamese restaurant that still offers authentic dishes, true taste, no skipping on ingredients, and generous portions at a reasonable price. Of course I had to go to Chinatown and the most sketchiest part to find it, but it was well worth it.
Located at the end of Chinatown at the corner or River and N. King it isn't exactly the most pleasant of locations. The building as well as the surroundings are rather dubious and ominous in appearance. However, despite as bad as everything looks, it is safe and once you get inside, you are in a cute little well kept restaurant being taken care of very friendly staff.

Read moreNo frills Vietnamese food in a small but comfortable space on the edge of Chinatown.... The food was very fresh and authentic. Run by a local couple/family, the service was very hospitable... Prices very fair. The Vietnamese coffee was traditional slow drip and delicious. Ordered the banh mi sandwich and it was also a star... The bread was fresh baked, and had the perfect texture and softness on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the crust. Definitely...
