Highly recommend. I went to Every Piece Hair Salon looking for help. My hair was really knotted/matted due to stress in my personal life, a recent surgery, and just letting myself go due to all the stress I was going through. I was extremely embarrassed and I desperately needed help. They were sure to not make any promises over the phone but said they would do their best. I ended up having 5 different stylist working on detangling my hair. I was absolutely humiliated to have them see how bad my hair had gotten, but all of the employees continuously made me feel comfortable and they were all so kind and upbeat. It really made me feel so much better. The main stylist, I didn't get her name, thoroughly washed my hair and scalp, it felt so much better. She then blowdried my hair and put it in two french braids, something I am unable to do, I can barely do a regular braid. She understood that I needed to have my hair in tight neat french braids to avoid this situation from happening again. She recommended different treatments (deep conditioning and a trim) but she didn't push any of it on me which was really nice, I didn't feel pressured to say yes and I appreciated that. I am so grateful to Every Piece Hair Salon for helping me in a time of need when I felt so helpless and embarrassed. I felt so much better when I was done and they truly made me feel comfortable. Thank you to every stylist that helped me, and a special thanks to the main stylist that decided to give it a try (again I don't remember her name, I wish I did). It was up to her if she wanted to even attempt to fix the issue and she said yes, and I am so grateful. For other people that are looking for a great salon that aren't in the position I was in, this is a high end salon without the super high end prices. I felt their prices were excellent considering how nice the salon is. I saw other women getting their hair done and it all looked amazing, the stylists really took their time with each customer and they are all highly skilled, they really listened to their customers and took their time. Thank you so much Every Piece Hair Salon, I am extremely grateful that I didn't feel judged, my hair was saved, and I was given excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
Side note: there is a limited amount of parking stalls and when I got there all the stalls were taken so I did have to find street parking, so definitely get there early to make sure you can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām posting this review now, months after my haircut, because I just got a promotional email which reminded me of the sour taste the experience left in my mouth. First off I called and asked for a curl specialist, to which I was assured everyone in the salon could do curly hair! Based on my stylists reaction to my hair, Iād say this was untrue. She was way too excited about my curls for someone who works on them regularly and Iām not even that curly. I saw Marissa who was lovely, BUT I felt the consultation was totally lackluster. I explained Iām in a grow out situation and I just wanted her to make it look presentable and even out the areas I had cut myself. When youāve been to a stylist who is confident and gives you an excellent consult, is interested in your hair and thereās a collaborative energy, you remember that. This was not that. We briefly discussed buzzing my sides back down to give me a mullet but she definitely did not seem confident in that to me. It was clear to me that salon management really drilled into them the luxurious shampoo service and head massage, which was great for sure, but I did find myself wondering how long it really takes to shampoo a pixie cut. Several days later I called back having decided I did want to buzz the sides and wanted to see how much it would cost for her to do this little touch up. Keep in mind I paid $90 for my initial haircut and my hair is less than shoulder length. They said it would be an additional $70 for her to buzz my sides. $70. I understand this is a nicer salon but a touch up like that should absolutely not have that kind of price tag. I was able to get what I wanted done for $10 at a local barber shop. I would have paid triple that happily at Every Piece. Personally wonāt be going back. Photo attached is me post buzz and it looks super sick. Had she been more confident in that consult we would have done it and none of the issues I have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first visit went well and I spent nearly $340, but everything after that was incredibly frustrating. When I booked my first appointment, I specifically asked the staff to add a note to my file requesting that I be called before any future appointments due to frequent travel. When I later asked about that note, the woman on the phone completely ignored the question ā it felt like she just didnāt want to admit that no one had bothered to write it down.
Not only did they fail to call me, but they also had my email address entered incorrectly ā so I was blindsided by a $145 cancellation fee.
During this time, I was dealing with a family funeral. I called and respectfully explained the situation, even offering to rebook. Instead of showing any understanding, the woman on the phone was rude and antagonistic ā and charged my card anyway, despite my clear request not to.
Then they added insult to injury by saying the cancellation fee could only be applied toward 50% of a future visit. They also claimed they called at my 9am appointment time ā but in reality, they called far too late to help.
This place clearly doesnāt value communication, empathy, or customer service. If you're looking for a salon that respects you and your time, go to Le Monde Salon instead ā the service there is far better and the staff actually care.
Save yourself the stress. I wonāt be back ā and I highly recommend you donāt take the risk either. Just look at some of the other reviews.
UPDATE after looking at phone records, I see that I did in fact cancel my appointment months ago, as stated to the lady...
