Kewalo Basin Harbor — Attraction in Honolulu

I don't know what happened to the previous Harbor Master. This new women is just Rude if your allowed to say that these days. I've spoken to friends that have long term slips, one commercial business owner. It's the same conclusion all around. She could use her efforts helping and nicely going about situations. Unfortunately it's at the point happiness comes from telling people NO or even contributing to help whatever it may be getting a No or not what the client was looking in to, just small and Very small issues most people would be too busy to get involved or would be so unwilling to accommodate a small request... I'm told not to use this marina for overnight,weekend, any stays or fuel as we had done for many years while navigating the sailing yacht around Oahu/Honolulu. So things I wasn't around to witness or told about must have also happened for our captain to not want to go back untill "Things Change". Nice place but I wasn't aware of this till speaking...

Small ocean front park and marina adjacent to Ala Moana Beach Park. The park frequently experiences very high use and has very limited parking. Many users who drive are forced to park multiple blocks away. The harbor is home to many popular ocean tour/snorkel/scuba/fishing businesses. It has separate parking and also very heavy usage. The extremely limited parking is all pay by the hour. Patrons of commercial tour, scuba and fishing boats should plan to be dropped off or ride bus. The marina itself is relatively small and more expensive than nearby Ala Wai, but the docks (all new since 2019) are all secure and well maintained. Some of the best fishing boats on the whole island but I've been do most Harbors in Hawaii and hands down this Harbor has the absolute worst most disgusting bathrooms on the planet I would literally volunteer my time to go in there and pressure wash all the years of crap off everything and try to fix the plumbing no water in the sink to wash hands crusty crap all over the urinals and the toilet bust up for months this is what Hawaii wants to show all the tourists and locals that come down here to these parks and go out on the boats that a plastic bucket and a hole in the ground is more hygienic...
