As a Matter of Fact, These Artisans are Real Kansas Folks whose Father, Like Dorothy, in the Wizard of Oz, wound up buying a Dairy Farm, Turning it into a Pottery Factory, and Brought Fantastic Art Deco Original Hand Crafted Pottery to Hot Springs way way back in the Days of Black and White Television, when "Crafter Beers" and "Artisan Pizza" (such as I see here in "San Francisco" would have caused people "Stare & Wonder"....All Of the Family are and Were my Best Friends Growing up in the 1960's.
Now World Renowned & Highly Collected, Dryden ARTISTIC POTTERY is Still a Family Owned and a "Historical Treasure" with Connections to Such Famous Past "Wonders" of the "Spa City" as the "I.Q. Zoo", the "Alligator Farm" and the "Showman's Club & Association" for Professional Amusement Traveling Shows that once Called Hot Springs "Winter Quarters!"
When I was in the "House Band" at the Famous "Night Train" tittie Bar across from the "Oyster Bar" in 1970's "Hot Springs to Bed Springs" Era, and President William Jefferson Clinton lived at 1001 Park Avenue, Next Door to the "MAD BUTCHER" on Park avenue., James Kimbo Dryden, a 19 Years Old BEST FRIEND taught me how to Talk Out Loud. As the Gifted & Friendly to a Point of Holiness, DRYDEN, KIMBO should be Receiving Sainthood from Pope Francis within a Year or So. I interceded through the Dali Lama to the Vatican recently and The Dali Lama will bring it to the Holy See next Year.
Those who have NOT seen Dryden's Marvelious Mystery Pottery should...

Our pottery nerd dreams came true when we got to see a wheel-throwing demo by Zach Dryden and a glimpse into their extensive work area. It was such a fun, informative, and historical experience that we are so grateful for; they are the kindest and most welcoming family and we appreciate them taking the time to show us around! There were also large showcases of vintage Dryden pottery throughout the years, both for sale and private collection. Definitely a must-see for the American...
Read moreThe truth is I have not been here or heard of this name. Not a pottery aficionado . BUT, browsing at a local thrift store near me in St.Louis, I saw 2 coffee mugs like I've never seen! It's like they called my name! I do not want more mugs in my 60's, don't know why I was in that aisle. These 2 Dryden mugs quickly went home with me! They are my new fav's and are such beautiful earthy colors. I just love looking at them and I am excited to have a hand made coffee mug every morning! I do hope to make it to the store someday. God bless...
