While in Hot Springs, my fiancee, our friends and I chose Saturday, November 8th to be our main walk and shop day. Boy, was I glad we did! We found Kringles, and being a lover of all things Christmas (and as a seasonal performer of a certain jolly character!), I just had to stop in! Immediately, my heart was filled with joy and Christmas spirit, and I enjoyed looking through the store. So many wonderful ornaments and decorations! I felt like a little kid again! I picked out a simple trombone ornament to commemorate my time as a marching band member in high school, then continued around the store. Shortly before reaching the checkout, my eyes lit up--literally and figuratively, because there, on the night light display in front of me, was a Major Award! That's right, the leg lamp itself as a night light! I tried to act like I couldn't decide whether I should get it or not, although I knew it was coming home with me. At the register, I struck up a wonderful conversation with the woman who was running the store. She convinced me (not a hard task by any means) to also get a cherry kringle. We chatted for a few minutes, but the store was getting busy and my group was waiting outside for me. Alas, my time at Kringles had come to an end--but before I left, she made sure to wish me a MERRY CHRISTMAS, to which I replied the same. Thank you, Kringles, for making this Christmas lover feel right at home, and I promise that the next time we are in Hot Springs I will...
Read moreThis is a beautiful shop that's jammed packed with Christmas-themed ornaments, trees, decorations, snow globes, et cetera. There's a lot to look at within such a small space. The woman working there was so nice. I asked if there were any Black Santas and she said they do have these, as well as an angel, but that they sell out as soon as they come in so she showed me where I can find them in the store and can check back again. I saw Grinch figures too so they really do seem to have everything. What I didn't see was a Die Hard or ornament. This may be due to that not being a legitimate Christmas theme, although some would argue. I like this shop and it was nice to visit a store that you can't find in many places....
Read moreI rushed through Hot Springs bumper to bumper traffic to get my wife here before they closed at 7pm. She buys an ornament on every trip we go on, and we are leaving in the morning so we had to get it tonight. We parked and got to the door by 6:44pm, and they had already closed, even though the hours listed online said 7pm. She’s extremely disappointed. I’m sure she would’ve loved this store and given it 5 stars (she loves all Christmas stores), but we weren’t even able to see it, despite getting there prior to...
