Thanks for nothing.
My first contact with this business was not being able to catch anyone on the phone and leaving a voicemail that was never returned. After several weeks, I decided to overlook this and just walk in to the store anyway.
I brought in my 2 Nexus 7 2012 edition tablets to have their cracked screens repaired. After not hearing from them for weeks, I went back to the store to find out what was going on for myself.
I found out that they had ordered the wrong glass/LCD combos, the 2013 model instead of the 2012. A Hispanic looking man who I assume was the manager said that I was not getting updates on the progress of the job because I was not signed up for email alerts, even though I gave them all of my contact info when I dropped the tablets off the first time. So I left being assured that once they ordered the correct parts, they would get the job completed.
Finally after literally MONTHS of not hearing anything, I went today to just pick up the tablets. Instead of fixing them, they had placed the cracked screens back on the tablets, but one was worse than before, having a huge chunk missing from the bottom. The girl who handed the tablets back appeared very unconcerned, not even feigning an attempt to apologize.
Sufficed to say, I will never deal with this...
Read moreI went there to simply have a battery replaced and in as soon as I got my phone back I noticed the back camera was not working properly. I asked about it and the woman working there immediately went into defense telling me how it was not their fault. I asked to have it opened up because it could simply be a contact in the wrong place and she then brought it back open to show me a smear on the battery back saying oh liquid damage and was about to close it up. I stopped her and asked @why would you close it up instead of trying to remedy the situation? Maybe a paper towel and dab method would work. She looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language and had disgusted her. I then ask said big you bring it to me I’ll do it. “ she was very nasty and just dropped the napkin and walked away. They are thieves and crooks and when I initially brought it to be fixed, I should have run when the guy tried to get me to buy another phone for a simple battery fix. Then after she tried to sell me another phone accessories etc. I declined and she stated well you gotta but something, I have everything for sell , chrome books etc. That was. Red flag I regret I missed. Please stay away. I heard them trying to con an elderly lady while I waited and I was in turn...
Read moreA bit belated, but well deserved! Earlier this year, during the month of August 2023, I began experiencing a noisy and vibrating issue with the power supply (Corsair RM850x Series Plus Gold PSU) of my Origin gaming PC. After an aggravating and lengthy period of testing and troubleshooting, I conceded defeat. I then called Spa City iRepair. They listened to my dilemma; were cordial, as well as informative, over the phone; and determined that I should bring it in. I did so, and within a day's time they had assessed and remedied the problem. They concluded that the name impetus of my woe was faulty cable routing. It is now 20 November 2023 at time of writing, and my computer is still running as quietly and smoothly as it did the day I brought it back home from Spa City iRepair. The staff at Spa City iRepair were attentive, knowledgeable, concise, quick, and effective. They were also modest in regard to their fee and, on top of all of that, the lad and lass that corrected my computer conundrum stayed after hours so that I could retrieve my repaired machine after I got off of work. Had they not done this, I would have had to wait several days before I would have been able to collect my PC. Thanks again folks at Spa...
