I actually ended up here due to a friends craving of Crepés. Prior to arriving, I had made up my mind that I was not going to eat anything. I had a presumption of Crepés being a dessert, not a meal. My mother loves crepes & enjoys eating at Coco Crepés, Waffles, & Coffee. Once inside, I glanced at the menu and realized they offer crepes which have proteins which surprised me. So I decided to order a custom Veggie Crepe with the DOSA batter, black bean spread, & sautéed potatoes paired with their house made green tomatillo salsa. I was impressed at how delicious the veggie crepe which contains local roasted vegetables which consisted of zucchini, beets, carrots, a few more. I devoured the veggie crepé & felt satisfied. I had tried crepes prior that had sweet ingredients. So this experience changed my presumption of crepés. Melange Creperie has an exterior that no one can miss, it is a “pink” home with inside & outside seating. Staff is helpful & will accommodate to any substitutions of ingredients one desires, definitely would recommend to anyone!

My daughter-in-law and I went in for a 1st time visit and we were not impressed at all. While we looked over the menu the female employee finished up with an order. No biggie since it was our first time and we needed to look over the menu. We order 2 drinks. A iced coffee with soy milk and an aqua fresca watermelon. I noticed that the male worker pour some syrup in a cup and the rest was just water. The iced coffee was so horrible!! We definitely expected more since we had to wait almost 15 mins for it! I paid almost $15 for some watered down drinks! I would have returned them but #1 we didn’t want to wait any longer since we had an unsettled child. 2nd we knew the guy did not know what he was doing. The guy that worked Saturday, 8/26/23 was extremely slow and he needs to be retrained for sure! This is a really cute little place and I was expecting more, but I will definitely have to be convinced to come back.

Hard to eat. Handheld crepés? You mean, like an ice cream cone? Not only unusual, but also like forcing a square peg through a round hole. The crepé was a little crispy at first which was a refreshing experience from other crepés, but the remains were rubbery and my Nutella leaked out the bottom leaving me with messy hands and dirty pant legs. I think one of my strawberries fell out as well. When I was done, I felt like I had wolfed down my dessert to keep from making a mess. The only reason I left two stars was the taste. It wasn’t great but, at least they didn’t screw that up. Management never inquired if I enjoyed the food. I will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and get crepés from City Centre. Much better. And you eat them with a fork.

Quality- 3/5 Quantity-4/5 Pricing-3/5 Service-4/5 Speed-5/5 Environment-4/5 Quality-. The lattes and teas and made great very much alike any other cafe I've had although Abit on the foam for a regular latte. The crepes seem to be my biggest question, I've had both French style and American style from numerous places and countries and not once I've had a extremely crisp(burnt abit) crepe. Texture and taste do not match well for that, I don't know what place served crisp burnt crepes but it really throws off the entire crepe.I would usually overlook this but everyone's crepe was crisp and burnt. Quanity- decent size crepe but if you want a comparison size to other crpee places it's Abit smaller and not as filled.

Pricing- not too bad but alittle more then your average crepe place. Salads cost $13? Nothing fancy about them either

Service-.Employees were slightly welcoming (I could tell Abit of them were stress that day) but overall they were nice. I ask for water and it's self serve but the container was all ice, and the glasses to use for them were all gone. Speed-. Food and drinks came out almost instantly less then 5min wait and it was Abit packed.

Environment- .Nice cozy little colorful place that helps lighten the mood, great for having a coffee or strat of your day highly reccoreco to sit outside and enjoy the view of the heights area .

Overall- just better crepes and not being burnt I would possibly come back for the food otherwise I'll only come for...

Ew, definitely nothing at all like the old Melange kiosk/food truck days. The first time I ever stepped foot in the brick-and-mortar it was a weekend and I picked up my food to go. The place was so empty that it actually became awkward for me how hard the workers worked at ignoring my presence.

Since I was a pre-paid pickup order, they literally only needed to hand me the bag, but the two girls at the front were too busy gabbing with each other about their personal lives to notice me.

When someone finally came from the back and asked me what they could make for me, I told them I was a pick-up order and all three of the workers looked confused for a solid 30 seconds until someone questioningly picked up a bag sitting in (presumably??) the pick-up order area of the counter and then read the name on the bag like they were discovering a new element.

At the time they handed the bag over, I was still tripping on the contrast between this depressing new establishment and the old days of entertainment and enthusiasm outside.

Since the food was also cold and nothing to write home about, I have to wonder how this place even shares the same name as the old cart on Westheimer. Different cooks, different food, different service -- all coasting on the same...

This review is based solely on the efficiency of this place. I like to right good reviews when it's well deserved and bad in hopes that things change. We went here because it had good reviews. This place may be great (have yet to try my food for reasons that will soon become obvious), but not during rush hour. We came here excited to try this place and waited 1 hour for crepes. 1 hour!! For crepes! Not only do you wait for an hour, they spent 5 minutes arguing back and forth about running out of numbers to hand out. In front of customers. You run out of numbers to hand out, when all your customers have them waiting for their food. Told the person taking orders that the wait is 1 hr because you can't improve if no one tells you the truth. She did apologize, but I'm not sure if it fell on deaf ears. We were never told about the wait when we ordered. After we waited for about 45 minutes, we noticed them telling customers the wait is 40 minutes. For crepes?!?! Very disappointed and will not be coming back here. Positives: nice decor, good location, can do street parking or regular parking, polite greeter, and you get...
