We normally order all our shoes online, but we decided to give this store a chance since we were in Baybrook Mall. My wife decided on a pair of Asics, since JD Sports had the classic design. Unfortunately, the shoes had a defect inside which was causing her blisters. We tried to return the shoes for an exchange, but the manger on duty (He said his name was Shawn) said they cannot do anything for us because she wore the shoes. This is a flawed policy that they have in place and it forces you to have to own a product regardless of manufacture defects. Now we are stuck with a $120 pair of shoes that are not even worth giving to a homeless shelter because the shoes will harm the feet of the owner. What a waste of money! I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying from stores like this. Do yourself a favor and buy from Amazon, or someone with integrity behind their products, that will exchange or refund you your money if the product is flawed from manufacturing. This experience was a waste of our time and money and JD Sports will not stand up and honor their customers. Shame on them and the staff for not even trying to rectify the issue. We will not support this business anymore and we will spread the news to our family and friends. This is the reason why brick & mortar businesses are suffering and everyone is going to online shopping... cut out the foolishness of human error and poor...

We tried for the first time today to pickup at finish-line using methods other retailers allow, (in the event of absence, a third party may pick up for you using a valid ID matching raffle win and app login) when they told my mother they didnāt do pickups like that, they proceeded to antagonize her and say that our family caused issues in other areas and weāve never even been to this location for a release prior to this. They said that I tried cheating a raffle for the lost and found Jordan 1s⦠but if you check my account or any of my familyās we havenāt won a raffle in 6months + at any finish line ⦠so instead of kindly letting her know they didnāt do pickups like that, she left borderline crying after the terrible experience. It was a hispanic/oriental man that made my family never want to enter another draw at the Baybrook location. I purchased a pair of shoes from JD Sports at Baybrook Mall and returned them because I didnāt like how they fit. The shoes were completely unused. When I made the return, the store gave me a $100 bill and some change. I was in a hurry and didnāt check at the time, but later realized the $100 bill they gave me was COUNTERFEIT!
Iāve called and gone back to the store multiple times, and every time they give me the runaround, telling me to speak to different managers or to ācall online.ā When I finally got through to who they claimed was the general manager, they told me to contact customer service online. Then the online rep told me to go back to the store. Itās been a nonstop loop with no accountability.
Not only is this horrible customer service, but giving a customer a fake bill is illegal. Iāll be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and taking further action if needed.
