My cousin and I went to City Center/ Town & Country to do some casual shopping on our day off from work. I saw Sephora and a 50% off lip products sign through the window, so I went in to check it out. Straight away, ALL of the employees were standing to the right of the entrance when we first walked in. No one greeted us, or asked if we needed help; they just stood and rudely stared at us with a stand-offish demeanor. No one was friendly and they looked us up and down in a very judgmental way. A man behind us (not with us) even started to walk in and took one look at the staff members as they began to stare in the same manner, and he turned right around and left. I had thought about doing the same thing myself. My cousin and I were definitely uncomfortable, but I chose to inquire about which products were included in the lip product sale. One of staff members told me which ones were included, but then three of the workers hovered and acted like I was going to steal and then I picked my item and quickly got in line to pay at the register and we stood there for five minutes while employees looked at us, but no one went to the register so I could make my purchase. Then a lady walked up behind us and she was helped immediately before us. I didnât make a fuss about it, but I couldnât believe I was followed around, stared at, but then when I try and pay, the employees just stare and donât help me until AFTER taking the lady behind us. The long haired man at the register looked at me with disgust when I finally get to pay, and I asked him how to say the lipstick shade name of the product I was buying and he acted like I was offending him when I genuinely just wanted to know how to say it right for when people ask what Iâm wearing. He didnât ever tell me how to say the name which whatever no big deal, but he also didnât say have a nice day or anything and all the employees just seemed like they wanted people to not come in and shop and if you did, they just want you to leave. They donât care at all about customer service or making sales, apparently. I wouldnât even treat someone I disliked the way I was treated. It was a horrible experience, and I will not be returning to this Sephora ever again. I typically like to leave positive reviews, but this experience was just so uncalled for and...
Read moreI wish i could give no stars. I was just accused of stealing a lipstick at this Sephora location. My friend and I had had rough days at work and thought we would go to sephora to stock up on some of our favorite things. As we were browsing i noticed one of the sales reps kept following us and watching us with a very unfriendly look. We were trying on various Givenchy lipsticks and my friend wanted to try one that I owned and happened to have on me. I offered her the one I had so she wouldnât have to use one of the lipstick brushes and then put it back in my purse. At that point the sales rep who had been staring at us and following us since we walked in walked up to me, threw a basket on the counter and said, âhere you might need this for the lipstick you liked.â I was confused because I already had a basket so I told her that I already had a basket to which she responded, âItâs for the lipstick I saw you put in your purse.â I was SPEECHLESS. This is how sephora reps apparently choose to handle âthievesâ instead of calling a manger forward to talk to me. I told her I owned it to which she rolled her eyes several times so I demanded to see the manager. I offered to pull up my Sephora account so they could see that this lipstick was one of my previous purchases because I am NOT about to be accused of stealing. The manager just apologized if there was any âconfusionâ several times, no apology from the rep who accused me, just more eye roles and silence. I go to this Sephora almost every week because every rep I have ever talked to has been kind and helpful but I will never go back. I cannot believe that this is how they chose to handle this situation with a loyal customer who has been going here for years....
Read moreI'm a Vib rouge , i renewed my Vib for the year and to get treated like this is unacceptable!!!!! I go into this store on my way home from work, I usually stop by to return stuff that I didn't like. Most of the time I just get the money and added to a gift card so I can buy online, I like to accumulate my gift cards and just buy thru Ebates. Every time I go in I get these horrible looks from 2 employees that have all back outfits black pants and a black shirt one of them has red hair. I can feel the 2 lady's staring at me like if iv commuted a crime for returning what I don't like, I always get asked 20 questions on why I'm returning products one time the lady in the red hair asked me ¿do you need help looking for a new bronzer? obviously you do since you are returning 2. I'm not a rude person that's why I didn't reply to her rude comment but it made me feel soo angry. I usually go to Sephora Inside memorial city the people in there treat me soo good the people even know my email and password. It's crazy I don't know who trained these people inside city center because they are soo rude. I went in today with my mother I wanted to get her the new Anastasia glow kit and I was telling her about these 2 lady's and she's like maybe you are just exaggerating but as soon as these two people saw me my mom knew what I was talking about I don't know how they are allowed to work there they are horrible. Also today I got asked my a short older lady with highlights ¿why do you return here and never buy? I told her I always buy online because again I didn't want to be rude but how dare she ask me, its none of her business can someone from corporate go and check on this store it's runned by horrible...
