This place is a beautiful place to go visit. This was our first trip there and we took all 3 dogs. It was nice to allow the dogs to stretch their legs. I had 2 problems with it. People... if you take a dog there.. pick up after your dog instead of letting others step in it. Seriously.. on the sidewalks??? That is rude.. Kids are walking on those sidewalks also The next problem I had is... the bicyclists.. the sidewalks are not big enough for two people to walk side by side and for a bicyclist to pass by. We were constantly turning around so we could get ourselves and the dogs off the sidewalk when they came by. Tons of them and they are flying through there and have no intentions on stopping. Ohh and you cant hear them coming up. Only one guy had a bell he rang to give us time to move. Actually he was one of the few who said thank you. I may or may not try this park again. Definitely not...

This is a great park along buffalo bayou and the long trails that run along it! It offers a large visually appealing park area which is great for photography as well as picnics! Even though it provides a very large useful area along buffalo bayou, it doesn't offer a play ground or anything along those lines. BUT, this really isn't that type of park. It's a great place to stop or see while riding down the buffalo bayou trail and while there you can easily check out the "secret" red button on the...

The atmosphere is nice the keep the place very clean and its great for a simplistic hang out. Its a great place to take wedding and engagement photos. The parking is not free due to being downtown unless you park after 6p.m. or on Sunday. Also there are only 7 parking spots located immediately at the park. So be prepared to walk a block or 2. I only go there to...

Sesquicentennial Park is a nice public space located in downtown Houston, adjacent to Buffalo Bayou. The park has ample access to the Buffalo Bayou Hike and Bike Trail as well as seating and beautiful green lawn. There's even free public wifi. As a bonus, this area of downtown is rife with numerous historical remnants. I highly recommend taking a few moments to enjoy.

Sesquicentennial Park is a gem nestled in downtown Houston! I recently took an evening stroll there and was captivated by the "Seven Wonders" pillars, adorned with charming children's drawings etched in stainless steel. The park boasts serene walking trails, inviting benches, and a stunning vista of the Houston skyline. A perfect blend of art, nature, and cityscape.

This park presents a beautiful juxtaposition with the scenic park surrounded by dense urban area on all sides including above. It was pleasant to walk though even when it was unnaturally cold outside. A great place to run and have fun. I would also recommend visiting the systern at the Buffalo bayou area.
