These guys absolutely unbelievable. Talk about a terrible customer experience. I brought a queen bed, and was told it would be there by July 20-30.
I told them that I needed it by the 30th because I was moving. They said sure. Nobody followed up with me to see if my bed was going to be ready.
I called 5 or more times to make sure it was going to be ready, and the person on the phone would do the bear minimum and just read off their screen and tell me that it “would be here any day.” I pushed for a tracking number or to contact somebody for an exact date, and they said there was nobody to talk to.
They kept saying this all the way till the day before I was leaving. Then I pushed again, and suddenly the could “email” somebody. They did, and I was told that they are changing the schedule to reflect an early august delivery. I was told this a day before I was supposed to leave.
I go back and forth with the manager and she tells me that they aren’t supposed to give exact dates. and it’s actually an estimate, but they did give exact dates. The sales people are on commission, so of course they will gloss over that fact every now and then. She even tries to tell me that I misheard them, even though I remembered exactly what was said, and I doubled and triple checked, and called so many times to make sure.
I then ask the manager if she could make it right and give me a king if they have one since they made me wait weeks with no updates and a false sense of validation. That my delivery was going to be there on time, She says she would but they don’t have any.
The next day I go to the warehouse to pick up this other order that I had, and what do you know, they have a king. I call to see if she could still honor the 25% discount I got when I brought the bed. she says nothing she could do. She even mentions that the queen is their now, and “just like they said, any day now.” Even though they just changed the scheduled delivery to reflect early august.
Unreal these guys. They confirm to you a certain time frame, and when you try to hold them to it, they say they aren’t responsible. Then they confirm a different timeframe (early august) and they try to hold you to the original time frame when it actually arrives on time.
And In the end, they could care less about making it right for their customers, despite massively...

Second time i went to she was off,another guy named Abkar came to me said that he may help me,during I chose my furnitures,he was following me and kept talking,talking,and talking,also he was super pushy,pushed me to buy the more stuff in order to get more his commission,Nobody is stupid in this world,We all know that what he needs,but his attitude was so fake,Finally I spent over than 7000 dollars for my new furnitures,he was indeed happy,and He was “nice” and said that “Whenever i need anything,i can always come back or call him,he will always help me” when i paid and left......The problem is since i received my sofa i saw a problem like little cracking on the side of the sofa,so when i third time went back he refused to help me,and looked so annoyed and inpatient!Everybody can see this guy‘s face and nobody likes him in that store!“Before i paid,he was “nice”!After i paid and he got his commission,he changed his attitude!”On the other hand,all other employee they are super nice,and even the drivers are very nice too,the price of furnitures are reasonable and quality is great too!I am just regret that i chose him,Next time i will buy furnitures and for sure i will come back to star,but I will NEVER talk to that poor person,I recommend all other consultants there but him,Abkar,who loves money...
Read moreOur order is under name Beining Huang. I wish I could post 10 stars, but it only allows 5. It’s been a wonderful experience with Star Furniture design consultant and sales Nursel Morgan. We had hard time to get hold of our initial sales (She didn’t answer our phone calls), so we asked Morgan if she could help us, and she was willing to. From that moment on, we know we are in the good hands. She educated us how to pick good furniture in consideration of style, quality, and price. We originally picked some expensive recliners for media room. She recommended another one with only 1/2 price, but looks more stylish and feels more comfortable. For dining room and master bedroom, she recommended Kincaid solid wood sets to replace the ones we initially chose. We instantly love the sets she picks for us. The new sets are definitely at higher level compared to the ones we initially selected, but the total expense only increases ~20%. Morgan is always patient when servicing the customer. For the mattress, we have changed 3 times. Every time she would ask us to lay down for at least 5 minutes to make sure it is a comfortable one. She never complains even after we have changed our mattress selection from firm, soft to medium at three different days. Morgan is also a design consultant. We benefit from her interior design background as well. She plans to visit our home after the delivery so she could give us advice on the home decor. We feel so lucky to have Morgan as our sales in Star Furniture. We enjoy every bit with Morgan during this furniture selection process. Thank you Morgan for a job well done!
