very disappointed with star furniture I was told the my living room furniture was 100% leather and I took their word for it. Paid almost FOUR THOUSAND dollars because I wanted to make sure my furniture was going to last. They were very helpful at first making up to three visits exchanging pieces because they either did not match or the furniture was damaged in storage or delivery, either way it took almost two months to get it right. Only a few months later I was having problems bring down the recliners and noticed there were broken wooden boards poking through the cloth underneath I was so disappointed something else had gone wrong so soon. I kept saying I would contact Star Furniture and either kept forgetting or just had too much going on to waste time contacting them. Next I noticed the color fading in several areas of the furniture where we sat the most and thought this is not something that happens to good real leather. I was so upset and decided that I was going to at least write a bad review, again several months went by and who has time to waste. How time fly's, it's coming up on two years since I bought the furniture I'm still upset about my expensive junk furniture I could have bought at big lots for a fourth of the price. I said to myself people should know what kind of poor furniture comes from Star Furniture stores so I decided to write this review anyway. I always read reviews before purchasing anything now and thought this review would help others even if it's half of the people that would normally purchase at Star Furniture. Next time I will listen to; Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale from Gallery furniture and buy sturdy, strong furniture made in AMERICA! I made my purchase on 10/01/14 for $3960.66 from star furniture on the north side of town between FM1960 and Cypresswood if you want to confirm...
Read moreSo far, not much positive to say. Ordered table set, couch, and chair on 10/16. Paid in full. Able to take tables home that day off floor. Salesperson said chair/couch set was in a container that showed in computer it had arrived. She said they would unpack in next 2-3 days and they would call to schedule delivery days after that. Week later no call/nothing scheduled (attempted to call but as u know they are closed beginning of week). Contacted them 10/23 and was told chair arrived but not couch. Asked them to go ahead and plan delivery of chair as we need something to sit on (soonest delivery date another week away 10/30). Was told again they would call 10/29 to give us delivery window time. No call 10/29 so I called 30 min before close. Was told the couch is now scheduled to arrive late November. We were mislead from day one saying we would have couch/chair within week. Asked for manager to contact us Friday 10/30 and no call yet. Although the furniture will be great, no one does what they say and they don’t give accurate info. Still waiting for our chair delivery today...
Read moreI enjoyed my experience with Star Furniture Clearance Outlet. I thought I was going to the regular store but when I place Star Furniture in my gps I didn't pay attention and it took me to the Clearance Center. Once I made it, I was about to go to the regular store, but time wasn't going to permit, so I walked in and was greeted by Salesperson Jackie. I told her what I wanted and she showed me a variety of items but I wasn't sold until I was on my way out and found the perfect couch for my location. If I would have bought the couch from the regular Star Furniture store the couch would have cost me over $5,000. The outlet had a 30% off sale on that particular day. I saved over $3,000 thanks to Star Furniture Clearance Outlet Salesperson Jackie. If you need any type of Furniture go see Salesperson Jackie, she will take care of you and no pressure like the average salesman at...
