Huntington Beach Farmers Market — Attraction in Huntington Beach

How did I not know about this place? Walked around the whole store and discovered phenomenal prices on produce. Avocados $.39, a basket of tomatoes $.99, baskets of berries $.99, inexpensive cucumbers, mandarin oranges, asparagus, Roma tomatoes, etc. The rest of the store was also full of very reasonably priced products. Within the store is a small takeout mideastern restaurant. They have chicken and beef kebabs, as well as falafel. Also, hummus, baba ganoush, tzatziki, and mediteranean salads. We decided to take home dinner. Everything was fabulous. Portions were large enough that we have enough for another meal. I highly recommend this market and the Mediterranean food restaurant. My only complaint was there were salads in the refrigerator were 2 days out of date ( for a great price). I don't think they should have been on the shelf. But since I know to check dates, it wasn't something that would stop me from...

This was a discovery from 2 weekends ago but came back here recently for more grocery shopping for fruits and vegetables. Budget-friendly prices in comparison to other supermarkets (Albertsons, Vons, Ralph's etc) 🥳

The atmosphere is similar to 'Super King' and 'Wholesome Choice Supermarket' where they carry some fresh produce/imported dry goods (i.e. Turkish, Asians, Mediterranean and Americans etc). There's also 'The Golden Falafel' (fast food to-go restaurant) inside the marketplace. Will come back another time to try this place out.

Although it's a small marketplace, they also have some household/kitchen/gardening/plants (fruits/flowers/herbs) stuffs...

I tried to return a pita bread that was a week past its sell by date that I only noticed when I got home. A rude man came to me and tried to tell me it was not past its sell by date when it clearly said May 31st, it is June 6th today, he threw the bag of bread on the counter and got upset because I could make out the capital letters of MAY. I then said I didn't want the bread that it was fine since it wasn't expensive anyhow..he walked away and said it was mine and I instead left it on the counter. He then said "fine you don't want it?" and tossed it into the trash. Not coming back, shame because I liked their products they stock, my first time is also...
