Huntsville/Madison County Visitor Center - Downtown — Attraction in Huntsville

I'd give this a definite 5 plus. We were greeted immediately with a warm smile and shown what materials were available. There are hundreds of pamphlets, brochures, local entertainment guides. The only thing they didn't have was a street map of Huntsville. The city doesn't print them anymore.

The people working there are very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to get to know us and chat about our interests, making suggestions about different places to go and things to do. We enjoyed talking to them and left with an entire bag full of interesting material...

This was our first visit to Huntsville and we stopped in to get some information about what to see and do. It was a great decision! The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us some great suggestions. They also have a fun picture area in the back and it will email you a photo with different backgrounds of places in Huntsville. We spent maybe 10 minutes taking photos. A must visit. All the suggestions I saw online when planning a visit to Huntsville recommended going here first and they're right. The clerks are very knowledgeable. There's tons of information, brochures, souvenirs and great coupons for attractions and local events. We saved 20% on the Space and Rocket Center and the Botanical gardens. My favorite part?
