June 2024 Update: my favorite coffee shop in Hyde Park ☕️ they are vegan friendly with the choice of milk already included in the price, and have vegan pastries and breakfast foods 🤍 DW is awesome, his friendly and pleasant personality are very welcome in the mornings, and it’s so nice he remembers regulars. Makes a really delicious latte too!

Original 2018 review: I can’t beleive it took me so long to come here and it’s only 3 blocks away! 🏃🏾 This is my new favorite local coffee shop and they have a rewards club which definitely adds to the icing on the cake ⭐️ ! Came for coffee early Monday morning when my usually place was closed. I love that they have vegan and gluten free options as well as many tasty things to choose from 🍩 . The guy that took my order and made my latte was super nice and he made it PERFECT 👌🏾 I don’t like the taste of coffee but I have to drink it for the caffeine, so when I ordered my honey latte extra sweet it was delicious ☕️. I love the atmosphere, they had R&B music playing softly and a tv on mute 🎶 . I also saw they sell alcoholic drinks which makes me wonder if they do happy hours 🍸 this is an awesome spot that’s more than a coffee shop, definitely recommended! 💕

I have had the utmost pleasure meeting the owner turn off this amazing establishment I am inspired and motivated hearing his story map of his early beginnings and how he has made a name for himself and his business as a business owner myself motivated play and I appreciate the contribution Anthony impact that he has made on the culture I have visited his other locations but this one in Hyde Park is home to me like all of his locations HR different in their design all the staff are knowledgeable and helping you make the best decision if it's your first time for your regular I just want to try something new you are greeted with friendly hellos the warm goodbyes every time I go I never want to leave just because that sense of home that sets of belonging set his business apart from other businesses I pray that the owner creates many more businesses and opportunities for others so if you are ever near any of the simple saver locations please go in and be ready for a amazing experience thank you all for taking time out to...

Food and drink are ok. The snack selection is poor, unfortunately. The coffee are interesting and varied. The "smoothies" aren't smoothies tho they are some powdered mix: skip it. Nice selection of teas, lattes are made just fine. One con: I was offered honey and lemon in my tea which is nice but the amount of honey was overpowering! Baristas could could easy on the sweeteners.

The layout is fine. Sadly there is a poorly maintained fountain thing on the wall that just makes the whole place look shabby - they could fix or remove that it's kind of gross. One speaker was blown out so the music, while good tracks, was annoyingly staticy and garbled. Could be repaired for better ambiance.

WiFi was painfully slow tho, so doing any work was frustrating. I don't think this is the spot for working. Reading, meeting people and relaxing are best activity for this space.

Overall the space is roomy, there's outlets and my table didn't wobble! I'll come back for coffee and...
