SEPHORA — Attraction in Indianapolis

Terrible staff and messy stock. Walking in, it’s extremely busy. I walk around the entire store to find where I needed to be. I find the product I want to buy with a customer looking at the same brand. She opens the bottom drawers because she can’t find what she needs that would’ve been put out. She takes the sample item and goes to ask a worker. I check the sample to see what color I wanted to buy but the customer had taken one of the sample products I wanted to try. I open the drawer just to see if I can see what the color looks like. A worker from across the store is coming from behind me with a stern high voice telling me I am not allowed to open the drawers and basically scolded me. Which is fine, but the way she approached me was extremely disrespectful and made me feel like a child. She told me they don’t have the product because they are low on stock and if I need anything I have to get a worker instead of looking in the drawers myself. I decided to buy the product I had in my hands and get in line. The worker called us over and was on her phone texting someone. She did not greet us and asked if I was a rewards member and I put my phone number in. She checked my item out and began texting on her phone again. She took my gift card and told me how much I had left on it and gave it back. The workers here seem a little rude and careless when it comes to customer service. Not only that, the items in here were low on stock. The makeup pallets were displayed but all the pigment or eyeshadows had fallen out of the pallets. I normally absolutely love shopping at Sephora but today at 12:50PM I had gone to checkout and the cashier there was so rude. I told her that the other employee had to me to make an exchange and use the 20% off they were having. She said ok scanned my item a threw it beside the bag I had brought my product in. I said I thought you would put it in the bag. She rudely said that's not a Sephora bag. I didn't realize I grabbed a Nordstrom bag and not the Sephora one. I said well can you put it in a bag(Sephora)? She rudely Im not gonna put it in that bag it's not a Sephora bag and have a nice day! I don't know what her problem is but her tone seemed like she was talking down to me and out of hate. She was an African American employee about 5' 7". This was on 12/11/24 @ 12:50pm. She really shouldn't be working with people if she doesn't know how to talk to people and doesn't have...

Wonderful experience! If you don’t know what you want to get and don’t know your shade reference etc this is the place to go!

I went in to get a few things and didn’t have my shade reference ready. The team was super helpful! They got the right shades and explained how to use and what to combine it with and so much more! They also sent in the shade references etc over mail after the purchase for reference and also shade suggestions across other brands!

Went in during their sale so got an additional 10% ( if you’re VIB you get 15% and if you’re rouge you get 20%). Don’t forget you get a birthday gift as well

If you want to try and have time definitely go ahead and spend few hours and you’d be able to create a nice kit as well!
