Nail CA Perfection — Attraction in Irvington

Worse experience ever on my birthday. The manicurist did not treat my nails properly, folded them down too much all the way to my nail bed and did not apply the gel polish correctly. She asked another manicurist to complete my design because she counts not paint a flower. When I spoke to the manager, Kim, she did not care about me or the situation. It took 3 hours just to get my nails polished. Unacceptable Customer Care.

My gel manicure chipped in multiple nails 3 days later. The gel polish just peeled off from the cuticles to the tip. I went back to the manager and she told the same girl to fix the chipped nails. The girl would only fix the 3 most damaged nails and refused the rest. These nails chipped in 2 days.

I was able to peel the remaining nail polish off with my finger tips... no soaking in acetone or filing. The polish came right off but my nails are all bruised, thin, chipped and very painful because they were the manicurist had filed my nails down to the nail bed, which she should not have done.

After speaking to a Professional Nail Stylist, I was informed that they could not treat my nails until the pain went away because the previous mainicurist had filed my nails down to the very last layer of cartiledge and damaged my nails. I have to soak my hands and apply oil to relieve the pain and prevent infection. This is ridiculous....

I’ve been going here since I first ever started getting my nails done and NEVER had a problem. I came about 1 hr till closing time and she had an attitude with me when I walked in. She did my nails the way she wanted them done! I wanted coffin she gave me squared. Worst of all, MY NAILS WERE FAT. They had about 3 coats of regular polish and 3 of clear. At first I thought this maybe something new but I was nice enough not to say nothing and come back the next day since it was close enough till closing time. I come the next day to get them fixed and SHE MAKES A HUGE SCENE! Like I was just in there to make fuss. I’ve never written a review on any place but this was definitely something people should be concerned about. If you want good nail service DONT go an hour before...

The lady didn't wanna throughly scrub my foot, because I didn't wanna pay extra $5 fee. So they left me with dead skin still on my heel. I wasn't rude. But they giggled speaking Spanish in my face. I'm very unsatisfied, and still paid the pedicure. I'm leaving out feeling misunderstood. I won't be coming back.

Update: I didn't mention I brought my sister with me to get her pedicure too.. Now this morning she sent me a pictures of her toe bleeding.. If I can report this salon to consumers report, I will.. Because this is a bad experience that we didn't come in there for. I feel really...
