We went to the soft opening yesterday and it was great! The staff was so nice and very helpful, even as they worked out the kinks. Some guys were dressed more professional than the teammates and managers, so I assume they were owners and higher ups, but everyone was making sure we had a great time. There are way more attractions than the one in fairlawn. I bought a membership because its half the price of a day pass and has many, many perks. My son has been waiting for our urban air to open, and he hasn't stopped smiling yet. He had a blast and can't wait to go back. Thankfully with the membership he can go every day and not have to pay again! They also have parent memberships for only $4 which is nice because I usually don't jump with him but it's nice to have the option to do so sometimes. The go kart track is so cool. Its two stories! Ive never seen that before! Theres like 3 different rock walls. The zip line and ropes course start in the same area so you dont have to wait for another harness. The guy putting on the harness was so sweet to the kids and very patient. The people in fairlawn always seem kinda burnt out, and I know it was the first day, but this guy took a solid 5 minutes checking and rechecking each kid in their harness to make sure it fit securely. Obviously there can be an awkward situation when a teen boy has to put equipment on a young girl that goes between her legs and rests on her butt and chest, but he was so respectful and careful. A girl with a disability was in front of my son, and this guy took several minutes trying on three different harnesses to find one that fit her appropriately and was comfortable for her. She kept wandering away while he was fitting her and he just patiently waited for her to return her attention to him. I wish I caught his name because I was truly impressed with his patience and care for safety. Again I know it was day one, but everything was so nice and kept clean. I only wish there were more comfortable places for parents to sit, but there are better options than fairlawn. The booths are better than the hard chairs when you can be there for hours. Its very loud and dark, but thats to be expected at those places. My kid had a blast and we cant...
Read more‼️‼️Safety Concern-Go-Karts‼️‼️
09/03/25 approximately 7:20-7:30pm My 3 year old son 39 inches 40 pounds repeatedly (7-10 times) crashed into with Go-Karts and staff did nothing to stop!!
Initially, I was going to let him go by himself because the Go-Karts minimum requirement is 36 inches to ride. According to Urban Air this is a safe place for all ages to explore and they use U.S. Center for SafeSport training and resources.
Thank God I did not let him go by himself. The first 1-2 minutes the Kart was going slow then the speed was cranked up to max and one boy purposely crashed into us. My son became frightened and started crying. I yelled at the other driver to stop. Shortly later same boy crashed into us again. Right after that multiple other drivers purposely started crashing and staff did not make any attempts to stop this despite me yelling at them to stop. I had to unbuckle my child and walk off the track with him in my hands. I understand this is also unsafe but that was the best option available to remove us from the situation! I reported the incident to the workers and their response was "It's the kids, they just don't know how to drive those cars."
The only advertised requirement to ride the Go-Karts is height of 36 inches.
The Urban Air employees breached their duty and this event causes trauma to my son. Numerous Go-Karts crashing into us felt like being punched in the head repeatedly and anyone can understand that punching a 3 year old in the head repeatedly is wrong! I am 5’2 150lbs and noticed headache post incident, the headache worsened and woke me out of my sleep at 3 am. It is still there at 08:50 am as I was this.
Again, Thank God I did not let him go by himself. I can not imagine the outcome of situation had I not been beside him to yell at the drivers to stop and then manually remove him from the track. The incident has been reported to management and I will update review when I hear...
Read moreI’d rather pay for Sky Zone and Chuck E. Cheese in the same day. We had high hopes and left feeling very disappointed. We paid $170 for the family 4 pack bundle which was a platinum pass including all activities, 1 large pizza, 4 icees, and the socks. We spent 4 hours at the facility and waited in lines for at least 2 of those hours including check in and ordering our food that came with the package. After ordering our pizza and 3 icees (because 1 flavor wasn’t ready yet), we waited 1.5 hours for our pizza. One hour into waiting for the pizza we were so hungry we decided to wait in line again to order chicken wings. At that point we couldn’t get the discount for adding on the 12 wing bundle to our pizza, which was fine. So we had to order two 6 piece wings; which is obviously more expensive. The wings came out just minutes later… but there were 8 wings instead of 12. I obviously realized this immediately when trying to divide them amongst our 4 family members. When I brought this to the attention of the kitchen, she said “nobody will fess up to it, so my manager said you need to wait in line again and reorder 12 wings and pay for them again.” What?! I paid for 12 and received 8. I told her it’s fine, but I’m still waiting on the pizza that I ordered an hour ago. She questioned me 3 times while I showed her my buzzer and still acted like I was trying to get free food. We also never got our 4th icee. $198.22 down the drain. We won’t be back and that’s sad because our kids enjoyed it but the slow and uncaring staff in every section from the lines, to the food, were...
