There was a dude on his cell phone near the office door, yelling and gesturing wildly, as his pants fell lower and lower down (commando mode) until he finally pulled them back up a little. I saw a man greet a lady in the room next door in a peculiar way, as if they weren't together - then heard rhythmic squeaking noises coming from that room for a while. Had to wonder.... Then the man upstairs (not THAT man upstairs) came home and yelled at his woman for a while. Sounded like he might have slapped her; not sure. ||||Bare bulbs in the bathroom light fixture and another fixture. So little light in the living room area that it was impossible to see anything. However, the furniture felt greasy. So did the carpeting. The place is evidently near an oil refinery; I suspect that some of the workers track in oil on their boots and pants making it very difficult to keep the place clean. However, I think the sofa and chair had been in there since the Regan Administration.||||But the worst part was the wretched mattress, which was U-shaped. It took constant effort for us to both avoid rolling to the middle of the bed.||||The very prominent "No Refunds" sign was supplemented by a contract that I had to sign, acknowledging that there are no refunds, so when we got to the room and found this disaster, there was no recourse. I would have had to cancel 2 days prior in order to not be billed. Should have forfeited my money and found a campground to pitch the tent in.||||I travel a LOT and am a prolific reviewer. I've never left a scathing review like this anywhere until now. Unfortunately, this place requires the type of tender, loving care that only a large bulldozer...
Read moreThis is for my trucker friends, well your first obstacle to get here would be the traffic if heading NB on 77 get off on 109B... you have to get off the ramp and go directly to the inside left turning lane, well the time of day that I got here that wasn't about to happen so I got off the ramp kept straight through the light and it's an old plaza to your right, I cut through there to get back on everhard... you go under the over pass and make the first turn after the ramp then you have to squeeze next to the building ( it isn't as hard as it sounds) the owner wants you to do that because it's actually a road behind this place, as for the room... well,It's a small apartment! This place is actually an extended stay..the furniture is somewhat outdated (Somewhat maybe an understatement) ... but the best thing is everything you need is in walking distance, the mall is across the street but you may look like your on that old video game "frogger" trying to get across! But you have target and other shops right here at the hotel but over all would...
Read moreTo the owners: I'm sorry but I believe people should be told the REAL truth about your place. I hope you invest in it again because in 04 it was a decent place to stay, now it's worse than the area shelters I volunteer in. It looks like a ghetto /trailer park/3rd world country/tent city spot. Please tell people the truth when they call to inquire.
DO NOT RENT WITHOUT SEEING FIRST!!! RENTERS BEWARE: This facility has smoke stained walls and smoke aromatherapy ,if you dont mind. The stove looked like a street find with aluminum foil hanging out of it, the wood had cigarette burns all over them. The Carpets looked like the were waiting on a crime scene. The beds look like 3rd hands or garbage finds along with the linens that barley covered the piss stained mattresses. . You can just sense the drug parties that go on here. DISCLAIMER: I visited before purchase on 03/5/19 (THANK GOD) and couldn't believe they actually rented this Legally to people, I was offended.
It wouldn't let me...
