GQT Jackson 10 — Attraction in Jackson

I would like to give less stars than that.... the entire theater needs to be updated and remodeled.

They have a policy now...that no other theater has....because of the repeatedly horrible behavior of teenagers and young adults without doing anything or finding any sort of actual resolution. Despite the very possible lack of concern for the safety and experience of the rest of the people who come to a movie theater just to have a good time.

The 1st thing you notice are the missing seats where the remaing armrests are wrapped in caution tape. Along with the damage done by people...but the degrading conditions that haven't been addressed since the late 90's...

The actual movie theaters smell of different body odors and other hainess little The entire theater when you walk in smells of different body odors and other heinous aromas.... That might have a lot to do with the seats that haven't been replaced since the mid-90's and are incredibly uncomfortable to try to sit in despite the 20 different yoga positions you wind up putting yourself in....

And all of this for roughly the same price point as movie theaters in cities like Novi and Royal Oak? ( I spent almost $60 on 1 adult and 2 student movie tickets...with 1 popcorn...2 pops and one Box...

Drove an hour to this theater because it was the only place playing Maxxxine near me. I bought my tickets online and came in and got them scanned. After getting them scanned I get told that I can't watch the movie because I'm not 18 and told me the movie is rated NC-17, a simple google search will tell you that Maxxxine is only rated R. Employee was very stuck up and rude about the fact we couldn't come see the show and talked all about how the movie was way too inappropriate for two 17 year olds. Nowhere on the website where I ordered my tickets was I told that l'd have to be 18 with proof of ID to see this movie. Since my ticket was scanned and the movie started 20 minutes later I couldn't get a refund, instead they traded my tickets for a Despicable Me movie which played an hour later. Threw the tickets away and just bought some popcorn and a drink for $16, and the popcorn was just bad. Waste of time, money, and gas.

I have experienced so many movies, that were shown in theaters in the USA, Germany, France, and through out the armed forces in the State and abroad. Many emotions are gathered and held through each experience, but no experience can be cherished with out the proper setting, or place that's comfortable, safe with the need of feeling secure. GQT Jackson 10 is a reliable Theater and I Feel safe while being mesmerized and engulfed emotionally in a movie. The theater feels like home and those people that are their seem to have the same reason as I DO FOR BEING THERE. Escape for the moment and the reality of our world, to be plunged mentally, head on into fantasy, fiction,Drama,Suspense or Actiion, or just a good thriller. Family or friends, it's the escape and joy of a good movie at a nice clean and well maintained theater. Their employees seem to work well together and you feel a since of ease when engaging with each of them. GQT is a good place/great place for watching a Movie and getting into deeply into it, while enjoying it, while feeling safe and secure without constantly looking over...
